Yesterday, I placed a delivery order through doordash to my home from Everbowl. I got the paradise bowl with no granola, agave and I left a note explaining that I wanted pineapple blended in with the base but kiwis and strawberries on top, leaving the no pineapple option unchecked. When my bowl arrived, the first two things I noticed was that it was full of granola (top and bottom) and there was pineapple on top. The pineapple part wasnt that big of a deal but I have a high oat allergy so the bowl is inedible for me. Waste of money and it shouldnt have been an issue if the girl knew how to read a ticket. I then called the smoothie bar to tell them my issues with the order and the girl working the counter (around 2pm) told me that they can remake the order but I have to go pick it up. This is an issue since I don't have a car and I would have to pay the price of the bowl for an uber there and back. Also I already paid doordash for a delivery fee. No thank you. I wanted a refund and I told her. She said she would call doordash to try to fix the issue and I told her to call me back afterwards for confirmation. She took my number down then we hung up. Here I am with no call back and now waiting for doordash to contact me to fix your guys' mistake. I will not be returning due to the fact that the girl behind the counter and I had a very long arguement about what "please still blend the pineapple. Kiwis and strawberries on top" means. ALSO BE FAIR WARNED IF YOU HAVE AN ALLERGY AND YOU SELECT "NO '...'" IT WILL STILL BE IN THE BASE IF LISTED SINCE "TAKING IT OUT WILL CUT THE AMOUT OF BASE IN THE BOWL." Saying no to an ingredient means dont include it at all. You can literally kill someone and I hope you dont. How about instead of still adding an ingredient someone doesn't want go ahead and add a little extra of what's already in there to...
Read moreWe have been avid Everbowl consumers visiting on daily basis from PQ to Scripps Ranch, this Escondido has been beyond the worst experience ever. My teenage daughter has grown to have certain expectations because we have frequented so many of them. The young Reddish brown woman who worked there questioned every request which has never ever been a problem anywhere else. She was so rude and kept saying I am not suppose to do this, so we asked her to get her manager. She started to argue and raise her voice as if we would just leave. We reiterated we are paying customers and she wasn't doing anything extraordinary. The manager was called and we explained the situation. She quickly apologized and said this was not suppose to happen etc. The young girl was shaking and after that completed our orders. The manager then showed up from the back and we were sitting down and the Manger came over rude with a different attitude then over the phone and asked us to leave the premises. We didn't understand until we looked and seen the young girl with a shrewd look on her face. The manager said her employee didn't feel safe... what?!? She was so vindictive, and the manager said her employee was in tears... why because she had to do her job???? Never again and never will be...
Read moreAccessibility: unfortunately there are no accessible/disabled parking spots in front of this store. The only few wheelchair accessible parking spots are down in front of the Trader Joe's. The ramp to get from the parking lot up to the sidewalk is also there. Other than that, the rest of this entire parking lot is so packed all the time and it is hard to find a spot. The door to enter the building is a single pull door. There are short tables inside and outside the store with moveable chairs.
Experience: when coming inside on a Sunday at 11:20 AM there were no other customers which was nice. There was one employee and she welcomed us in and was super nice the entire time. The two bowls we ordered tasted really good but unfortunately the store was COMPLETELY OUT OF ACAI AND SPOONS so I had to order fruit with pitaya as the base, instead of acai, and I had to take it all the way home before eating because they didn't have spoons. Ha...like what kind of acai store runs out of acai and spoons? Lol. Oh well. Still giving four stars because the employee was so nice.
Tip: this store does not...
