The food was really good and a healthier option compared to in-n-out, with a similar taste. It would be nice if they had some seating that would be suitable for little kids, maybe an elevated high chair of some sort considering there's only bar type seating. The staff was nice but when I had asked to try their other sauces (they have 2 additional ones besides the original), I was told it would be $1 each. I just spent $30 on 2 double burgers and garlic fries, and tipped, and to be charged just to taste their sauces is ridiculous. As a restaurant manager myself, this is no way to treat your customers, especially when you're a brand new restaurant and want to promote your food. It would've taken just a second to make me happy with a drop of each sauce. I also asked for a plastic knife to cut a burger and they don't have those. They also put pretty nice napkins in the bags with the food, but if you need extra ones they have cheap folded paper towels. Maybe have a consistent mid grade napkin to use throughout? Seems like they have some kinks they need to work out, but it has the potential to be a really good spot. We had heard about it online and it was a bit of a drive, but wanting healthier options we...
Read moreWe were excited to come try out this restaurant! The staff was very top notch in greeting us as we entered. The person who took our order was very amicable. The prices are mid range, more affordable than other smashburger places.
The burgers themselves were cooked well, however could have been more crispy for how thin they were. The buns were only seared for a moment so they were not crispy anywhere other than the edges of it. By the time we ate it out of the bag after carrying it outside to our car, the burgers themselves had become soggy.
I had gotten the spicy burger, the jalapenos were not spicy at all, they were chopped in large chunk slices. There were 3 large chunks along with 3 thin pickle slices. My woman had gotten their garlic mushroom smash burger which tasted really good however same thing, became soggy quickly.
Their french fries were good quality potatoes, but were undercooked and not that crispy. On the flavor side though, very bland and underseasoned. Overall - Meh.
There is no room to sit inside other than a bar on the far wall, which had very little bar seats to fit anyone.
TL:DR - I would definitely return in a few weeks once they get their...
Read moreWe went on a Friday night, an hour before closing. They were very busy with take out orders. We waited 30 minutes, then drove 10 minutes, only to discover our double burger had no patties. We called the restaurant and a very nice man answered. They were able to redo our incomplete burger with a new order of fries that they offered. We picked it up at 9pm as they were closing. So overall, great customer service. The burger was solid, you can really taste the beef. The house sauces were good. The ranch was okay. The fries were given to us cold when we got them, which didn't make much sense since they were constantly pushing out orders. The new fries we received afterwards were warmer, but very very hard. We couldn't eat them. The chocolate shake and cucumber lemonade were delicious. I will give them the benefit of the doubt, and say they might not have been having a great night. Personally, our experience didn't leave us wanting more. Both fries were not great. Then having to drive an extra 20 minutes, because a burger didn't have meat, ruined the experience. I like the restaurant idea, so maybe in a couple months we'll give it another...
