As we pulled into the drive, two people were standing on the sidewalk just taking in the scenery and they saw us and quickly went inside (realizing they had a customer)
My husband and I visited here a little before 4:30 pm and they close at 5 pm. We walked in wet from rain and said ‘hi sorry we know you close before long so we are cutting it kinda close’ the lady up front replied ‘uh yeah you are’ my husband told her he liked red wine and she said ‘well I have 3 open I guess you can try’ he tried the wines as there was nothing for me to try because they don’t do any sweet or bubbly. She didn’t give hardly any info on the wine he was trying acting rushed although we had 30 minutes to close and we were the only people in there. He bought a bottle he liked and as the transaction finished (440 pm now -maybe) another couple started to walk up the sidewalk and the lady working there said to us ‘these people just come at the wrong time’. Our entire visit was ten minutes. I thought she was rude and acted like she had better things to do. And although we purchased something we will not be back. We did not feel welcomed there as guests of...
Read moreMediocre wine is fine with me but as long as it is at a mediocre price,we paid $16,which would be fine if it were worth that. my wife & I purchased a bottle of the Sweet Spring, after tasting 3 wines. The woman/owner poured my wife & I wine to sample from one glass. We tried three different wines, due to our appearance and age we were treated more as an inconvenience than a guest.Considering this was our first and last visit, the kicker is when we poured our sweet spring at home, the wine tasted very dry, upon looking at the bottom of the bottle we discovered an impressive amount of undissolved granulated white sugar. I would take the bottle back and ask for an exchange but quite frankly I felt disrespected.Good luck to these folks and the art of...
Read moreWe hosted a small destination wedding in Eureka Springs, and our first group event was a tasting and tour at Keels Creek Winery. The experience was superb, and I'm so happy we did it. Since it was off-season, there were no other guests in the winery competing for seats or service. I called Fiona to give her a head's up that we were coming, and she had our glasses ready for all fifteen of us. She didn't rush us or keep us waiting between pours. She couldn't have been cuter, kinder, or easier to talk with. Everyone had such a fun time, and many of us bought bottles to take home. If you're hosting a social event in the area, please give this...
