Turtle Back Ridge Family Fun Park — Local services in Eureka Springs

I feel for this sweet spot and see a place that at one time was probably really awesome. We had past it several times while in the area thinking it was closed down. A boy at the campground we stayed at said it was open so my son and I went and checked it out. It hasn't been taken care of and the folks working there were pretty laid back about their service. One played on a Nintendo switch and took smoke breaks outside the entrance door. Mind you there were only 4 customers inside playing the games and about 5 playing mini putt. However the other worker was on a laptop at the front counter. Both lacked enthusiasm and customer service. I see the potential in the place and wish them luck and hope they realize the little effort in their business has resulted in little business. My son said to me "that place sucked." Staff were friendly, but the facility was not in good shape. Several small issues added up to an expensive and "Meh" night. Many of the games in the arcade did not work or did not give tickets. There were small handwritten signs telling guests that tickets wouldn't be given, but sometimes it was missed. One game took $1 in quarters from 2 people in our party and did not provide game. Go carts were fun, and the ride time was good. Batting cages were not functional according to the website and a sign inside. Great place to occupy hard to please kids or adults. Only thing like it in Eureka. Some of the stuff was a bit dated and worn, but it was still fun. Go karts were fast, and the course was challenging but fun. Mini golf was fun, but could use some updating/brick work and carpets cleaned, and water features cleaned and turned on. Still played both courses, but the Par numbers seemed out of touch with reality and a couple of them had us super frustrated but were listed as par 1... Arcade looked well kept, and had some good...
