ArtDog — Attraction in Eureka

I can’t really give less than a 3 because we never went inside. My 2 year old daughter and I were planning on going here and painting some pottery. I hyped her up all morning and the night before (she picked this over the park). I read the website and it said their hours were 11am-3pm and that you could walk in to paint pottery. So we planned on getting breakfast and going there when we opened. We got there and the door was locked. I waited 10 min with an impatient toddler and tried calling as well and there was no answer. I told my daughter we would just have to go to the park instead. She was very disappointed and finally agreed. At 11:40 I got a text from the owner that yes, they’re open today and the hours are 11-3. I discovered watercolor painting about one year ago in a six week class at ArtDog and fell in love! With no painting or drawing experience Lynn taught me not just the basics but how to use colors and layers to achieve the images I wanted. Over the past year I have attended watercolor workshop on a regular basis and have learned so much more with Lynn’s expertise and encouragement all along the way.
