I was at the Walgreens in Eureka, MO today shopping like I normally do. While Iâm shopping I overhear two employees talk about me stealing. The lady who works daytime on the cosmetics side comes to me and tells me I canât leave my cart, with 7 items in it, just anywhere in the store bc ppl come in and steal all the time like that. My cart was literally right down the aisle from me while I was checking a price on another item. Then I asked her about two items that were on the clearance shelf that were marked clearance but didnât show on my phone as clearance. She was so rude about it, like I put it there and would get that price. I told her this happens all the time and I wanted to make sure so when I checked out, it didnât inconvenience the person checking me out having to go run and check the price. I go to check out and right away the employee had an attitude. When I was about to pay, she told me I couldnât pay half cash and half on my debit card when Iâve done that several times before. But I was not rude about it, I politely asked why and she told me âWe just donâtâ then I nicely asked her if she could explain why I could not use all of my Walgreens reward points instead of just half of them. She said âWe just donâtâ or something similar to that. I asked again if she could explain just so I knew for next time. She didnât even respond. Then I told her to just pls give me a refund and I would leave bc obviously I was not wanted there. She refunded it and refused to give me a receipt to show she did that. So after I left Walgreens, I spent over an hour on the phone with my bank asking if they refunded me. They kept telling me no and asked me why i didnât have any sort of proof like a receipt to show I was refunded. It made them think I was lying just to get money back. I totally understood though, what store refuses to give a customer a receipt. I shop at Walgreens all the time! It is by far my favorite store! The manager with the long brown hair and the cosmetic associate made me feel so low, like they were better than me and I didnât belong there. Iâve never encountered such rude customer service. Itâs not hard at all to be kind. Iâm really disappointed at this Walgreens. A manager is supposed to be the example to all employees and she was just so rude. I spend a lot of money at that store and for her to treat me the way she did, honestly is just so sad. If youâre not happy at your job then work somewhere else. Donât be bitter at the customers that pay you your check every month. Without us you would have nothing. I did call their corporate office which is something Iâve never done at any store, even writing this review is new to me. I donât expect anything to come out of it. But I hope these two ladies learn to treat people with respect and kindness. Im shocked Walgreens has these two employees working at their store. Apparently both these employees are well known for being rude to customers. Being kind goes a long way and itâs not hard. Maybe if you two tried it sometime you could learn to not be so bitter to ppl...
Read morePharmacy has Absolutely horrible customer service. Trying to get my mom meds as she is very sick and no other local pharmacies had the medication she needed. I was instructed by the doctors office to call around to other pharmacies to see if they had the medication she needed. When I found one I could then call back and tell the office where to send the rx. This was a 24 hour ordeal as no CVS in St. Louis has her cough medicine. It was at CVS recommendation that I try Walgreens even though her insurance prefers CVS. I digress. At first they told me that they did have it and when I tried to verbally confirm this she very snidely claimed that she never told me yes they did have the medication. Then she asked me for a quantity, how much I needed. I have zero idea what quantity the doctors office would send in. Iâm not the MD who would make that decision. So after she rudely told me to hold on she came back and said Iâm sorry mam we donât have any and we canât help you. Now I work in a cardiology office,(we do not send in cough medicine, hence why I donât know the quantity they would have sent), I advocate for my patients daily when it comes to medications and speaking to pharmacies. The complete unwillingness to help me was absolutely astounding. I feel bad for people who donât have medical professionals in their family, at least they have someone to help navigate the health system. The next time someone calls asking for help I implore you to actually see that person as an actual human being and to treat them with respect. Most of these people are sick and are literally at your mercy. I hope that no one ever treats your family members the way we were treated today. As a side note, mobap had the cough medicine she needed and had it ready for me in an hour. If you choose to go to these ginormous corporate pharmacies, do so at your own risk, they do not see you as a patient. They see you as cash. You want to be taken care of, find your local mom and pop, where even their bare minimum is worlds better. Walgreens gives zero craps about your...
Read moreVery rude pharmacy staff! I picked up my prescription and got home to find that they shorted my quantity of pills. I called up there, after a run around they informed me that they shorted me because they ran out of this medication. Did I get a phone call to let me know this when my prescription was filled? Nope. How about telling me when I went to pick up the prescription? Also nope. The only way they could fix this was for me to drive 20 mins back up there for them to âreturnâ it so I can pick it up at a different location. I go up there, the store manager (who was the nicest thing about this whole process) gives me my refund. I ask the pharmacist how long it takes for me to be able to submit another refill. A pharmacy tech tells me , very rudely, I can do it right away but I need to call them first because theyâre closing. (The Walgreens I was going to was a 24 hour one? Sooo no, they arenât closing) I call after Iâm already on my way to another location only for that pharmacist to tell me they canât refill it because it wasnât returned on the system. So I call BACK to Eureka to have them submit this, the pharmacist hangs up on me. HANGS UP ON ME!!!!! Unbelievably rude and unprofessional. So now Iâm here, about to leave for a 10 day vacation in 7 hours....with no medication. Awesome!...
