Hola! Mexican Food — Restaurant in Eureka

The food was hot and delicious. The staff was extremely nice. There was a huge group of young baseball players there celebrating with their parents. The problem was that the parents were at a long table in the middle of the room, and almost all of the young teens were at tables around the adults. The two young girls behind me steadily kept bouncing up and down on their seats which made my seat bounce up and down the entire time I was trying to enjoy my mother's Day dinner that my daughter brought me to enjoy. I didn't get on the girls because it's not my job. Anyone with eyes could see what was going on. The establishment was awesome but needs to pay better attention to what's going on around them and address issues like that when they see them. I'm the customer, so it's not my job. The parents need to watch their kids and parent them instead of ignoring their kids to the side of them because their too busy chit chatting...

We used Hola to cater a birthday party for 25 people and it was AMAZING! The owner made everything fresh that morning, it was packed well, and he helped load everything in my car himself well before the restaurant actually opened to meet my needs. He was wonderful to work with and was very kind and accommodating. We did a nacho bar with beef, chicken, and queso. They included 4 giant bags of homemade chips, a huge bowl of salsa, and serving utensils. There was plenty of food, everyone ate 2-3 servings throghout the day and we still had enough to send leftovers home with people, and keep some for ourselves. Very disappointed in our visit tonight, especially with the good rating this place has ☹️ Let me begin by saying that our server was great throughout the visit. He apologized multiple times for the multiple inconveniences and came to check on us frequently. The rest of the visit, however, leaves a lot to be desired. Our chips were stale, we waited 45 minutes for our food, multiple tables (including a party of 9) was seated after us but got their food before us, and not only was our food barely luke warm, but my boyfriend’s order was completely wrong. Let me also say that our orders were easy; I got 3 grilled chicken tacos plain, and he ordered 4 grilled chicken tacos with just lettuce and cheese.
