Franklin Lanes — Attraction in Evansville

We order almost DAILY from Franklin Lanes’ kitchen because they have THE BEST breaded tenderloin! I am a fan of the thin, crispy tenderloin like they have at the fall festival here in Evansville. I always order the tenderloin with EXTRA PICKLES and the cook always delivers. They give me a huge pile of pickles and I appreciate it so much because I HAVE to have a pickle with each bite lol. They are my new favorite place to get my tenderloin fix which has been my hyper fixation lately! I do with their restaurant was open for lunch on door dash. I work from home so I have been taking my lunch late to have my tenderloin fix at 3PM when they open for the day lol. Overall I highly recommend Franklin as they are the best bowling alley in Evansville and I’m so glad they have their restaurant on DoorDash bc the food is delicious and you can tell they care about their customers as they always cater to my pickle fix for the tenderloin hahaha! Customer service is definitely not a strong suite of thiers. I called to rent a lane as directed by their website and got on the phone with the manager I believe and he said “they would not rent us the lane” even though their website says they will. After mentioning that that’s confusing and it’d be great if they could honor what they advertise he said “yeah well it’s just not something we do”. Not going to bowl here again. This isn’t the first instance. I’ve also heard several of the employees verbally fighting in front of customers, cussing, and had the older lady at the front desk just completely ignore me even after asking for help. Just poor...

The place is good, lanes and upgrades to score system is good. Staff, however, not so much! I really don’t think staff want people to bowl there! And heaven forbid you don’t know where to pick up the rental shoes “over there!” It’s been so embarrassing TWICE when we met friends there for an evening of bowling! Staff always emphasize that they may close early without more patrons, even the bar tender. And staff make it very clear that they will run you out when it’s closing time! They start shutting off lights and make you feel UNWELCOME! So you’ve been warned, go early so you can be out of that place in plenty of time for staff to watch the...
