We purchased a bed a little over a year ago because the staff was so friendly and helpful. I am used to memory foam and knew it would take some getting used to. After about 5 months it was still very uncomfortable to sleep on. After visiting the store and expressing our concern we learnt that we would get a small percentage back to spend on a different bed. After paying so much for the mattress we really couldn’t afford to purchase another one. The bed has become so uncomfortable that I’ve been sleeping on the couch because it hurts my body so bad. Each time I wash the bed sheets I rotate the mattress in hopes that it will help. It has not helped at all. It actually has gotten worse with time.
When we moved in our new house back in the summer, we needed a new dining room table. We purchased a high top and took out the extended warranty. We paid to have the table and chairs delivered and put up. After one month of having the table we had friends over to visit. While we were eating, one of our friends was sitting in the chair and the screws fell out and the wood on the chair splintered and busted. Mind you this was the third time we had even sat at the table. We usually eat in the living room. The friend is very petite, so I know it wasn’t due her body weight. The next time we used the dining room set another stool busted the same way. We just discovered the other day that the table leg is coming apart as well. Very disappointing to have new furniture from this place and not be able to use it. We have a lot of money tied up in two pieces and are very unsatisfied with both of them for they are not functional AT ALL! Read moreEric Walker is a terrific sales person. All the positive things about his SALES abilities are true. He is attentive, knowledgeable about the products, efficient, and kind. But he is a sales person. Once the sale has been made he is on to the next potential sale. We purchased side by side loungers from Eric on May 27th to be in the Evansville location the second week of July. Near the end of July (July 28) we had not heard anything from Furniture Row about the status of our purchase.so I called Eric to check on the status. Eric said he was in the back in the warehouse but he would call me back when he got free. On August 1st when I had not heard back I called him again. He told me it was one of his rare days off and when he got back in the store he would check on our delivery date and call me to give me an update but that our loungers were being shipped that day to the “distribution center”.. on August 15th when I had not heard from Eric I called him once again. Eric gave me some gobblygook about our shipment date from the manufacturer had been moved to September 4th then moved back again twice. He said he was sending a message “as we talked” to “headquarters” to find out what was happening. It is now the evening of August 19th and as is what has become a very tiresome routine I have not heard back from Eric. Is there someone, anyone at Furniture Row that has the ability to track a shipment and to CONTACT ME to let me know when I can expect my purchase that was bought and paid for nearly three months ago? Read moreWhen we ordered our living room furniture we waited months for it to come in & be delivered. We only had half of our loveseat for months while we waited for the other half & when it finally came it was in the wrong color, so again waited months for the right piece. Only reccomended to buy mattress here because that is apparently the only thing they keep 'in stock'. Have had the absolute worst experience buying our bed frame here & we looked everywhere trying to find one we liked. Placed it on layaway in January thinking it would be ordered & as soon as we paid it off it would be available to us, which is not the case, it is 6-8 weeks once paid for in full. So we paid it off beginning of February & was told it should be in mid March. Here it is beginning of April & after I persistently emailed I was told another 4 to 5 weeks! This is absolutely unacceptable & especially the fact they can never return a phone call about our order! I would never reccomended or refer anyone to buy from here after the experience we have had. We have spent thousands of dollars here & their customer service is a joke, also can't forget the time I went in to make a payment on our mattress & gave cash with exact change so I did not have to get change back but the person who helped me had to get a calculator 3 times & still gave me back wrong change!
