GameStop — Attraction in Evansville

This specific GameStop is great. They usually have what you're looking for. I gave it 4 stars because the one person who was working and helping us didn't know much. I was told that GameStop doesn't price match their App or their website by the manager who was working. The manager was new so he was making several phone calls to people from other locations to verify his actions. The manager was extremely helpful and you could tell he was trying his best to help us and figure things out. He was kind to us and we were kind back. Another store manager from Henderson showed up and helped the manager who was helping us. The Henderson manager was a jerk at first but came around. Like I said this GameStop isn't bad. The managers just need more training before they're released on their own. I understand staffing issues but maybe with more training we can help with staffing issues by making employees confident and knowledgeable about their job. Was visiting here last month and the employee who was working that night was very abrasive and rude to me and my friend. I was looking at the bin of different character figures and asked my friend "what's this?" (referring to the fact I didn't know who the character was) and the employee interrupted as if I were a child and proceeded to explain to me what an action figure was in a very smug tone. Among other things he did was just as smugly try to explain to us what a Switch controller is and does, interject more comments into conversations my friend and I were having including telling me "You've said the same exact thing 6 times since coming into the store" and hollering after my friend and I left the store "Are you gonna buy anything or not?" Will not shop here again. My son saved his money and bought a very expensive Pokémon set, guaranteed to have certain cards inside. One of the special cards was missing. I called and they (multiple workers and the manager) told me there was nothing they could do. Their policy is they do not allow returns or exchanges on trading cards. They even told me their registers would not be capable of doing it. I explained all the card packs were unopened, and that the product was not as described and someone needed to make it right for my son. Again they told me, there was nothing they could do, but they would give me a customer service number.
