Had a $75.00 order with delivery and tip. Ordered the party size Cobb Salad and Pot Stickers with 1/2 gal of Strawberry Lemonade. Received 23 of the 24 pot stickers and the strawberry lemonade has no taste of lemonade whatsoever. It is pink, but can't taste strawberries either. It is simply a pink-tinged water. I have poured it down the sink. This part has nothing to do with your service, but the delivery driver made a stop at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital between picking up my order from you and delivering to me. He also had difficulty finding my apartment once here as they like to try to deliver to the address of the apartment complex (GPS related I assume that they use as I do not enter this) which is the office instead of the apartment number you specify. Needless to say the pot stickers were no longer hot. I ate 3 and have put away the rest of this order as I will have to reheat. I tried to call your establishment to talk to the manager, but nobody would answer, hence this public write up instead. I am not looking for compensation in any manner, just want you to be aware of why I will not order from here in the future. The delivery service was Uber Eats. He was kind, however they don't seem to understand the difference in a GPS address they must be entering to get here and apartment numbers. This is the 2nd time I have had this issue with them and it also happens with other services. I will be attempting to let Uber Eats know also. Thank...
Read moreThe location may explain problems with this restaurant. It is located in the only "mall" within 50 miles and the biggest mall within 100 miles. Given that, they have a continuous flow of customers, regardless of service & they can charge 30-35% more than surrounding restaurants.
My wife works Wednesday's so I bring food home every Wednesday night and have done so for the past 10 years. I have been to every restaurant in the area. TGIF, on average, is higher than Red Lobster. I have only tried TGIF twice in the last few years - because they are in the mall. Both times, the order was wrong.
The first time something was left out. I don't remember the details but I remember calling. They offered for me to return to get what was missing but I live 15 minutes away and wasn't planning on a 30 minute round trip. They sent coupons to make up for it. I never used them. This time (tonight) I ordered the Strawberry salad.
They may want to have their chefs read the menu. The menu states the salad comes with "Fresh balsamic-marinated strawberries, shaved Parmesan, goat cheese and glazed pecans served over mixed greens tossed with Balsamic Vinaigrette dressing." My salad actually came with fresh balsamic-marinated strawberries, served over Romaine lettuce tossed with Balsamic Vinaigrette dressing.
NO PARMESAN CHEESE, GOAT CHEESE OR GLAZED PECANS.
In their defense, it would have been a damn good salad had it come with...
Read moreLess than pleasant experience. I hadn't been here in years and my boyfriend had never been so we decided to go here for Valentine's Day this year (2019). We were given a table pretty quick, but the waitress walked us past a nice small round table in the corner with a low hanging light above it. This table would have been perfect for a couple on V-Day, but instead she sat us next to it in a table meant for six (again, it was just my boyfriend and I). A couple was seated at the nice round table right before we were about to leave so I don't know what prevented her from sitting us there.
On top of this, our meals were very lack luster for such a high price. Burger was average size and there was hardly any fries at all. Our appetizer was the "giant onion rings" and they were all but giant (Red Robin's onion ring tower is the way to go) and were just thrown in a basket. I want to say they were between $5-$7 which is way too much for what you get. If it weren't for our conversation, we would have finished eating in less than ten minutes and had left.
I've been to the TGI Fridays in Terre Haute, Indiana with my dad in years past and always had a great time and never a problem. Maybe this place should see how they run things up there...
