Poor customer service. Walked in and the entire store was sitting behind register on their phones. Walked around found items we wanted to buy and walked to register to inquire about what we needed to do. Stood for a while and they put down their phones to assist me. I walked around and got tags of items I wanted and proceeded to pay. The lady took my card swiped it and something was wrong with their system. A loud unfriendly lady came out and swiped my card again. Both transactions were now pending on my bank history. They said “sorry your card doesn’t work”. Called my bank and they said both transactions were approved and they released funds to store. Loud unfriendly lady refused to give me anything paperwork wise stating that I didn’t buy anything from them even though they have now charged me twice. She said there is nothing they can do. So now I’m waiting on a call from their manager. I would avoid this place...
Read moreI'm from out of town and the prices are way higher than my hometown restore and if you just go up the road a few miles to the Chandler Restore you can actually get things at prices that you expect to pay thrifting. There was a weird red and black round sitting station with 4 round attached little desk tables ... Weird enough for my basement kids area and o would have paid up to $100. The price on the tag said $800. It was used, hadn't been cleaned up, and the tables were loose. It was vinyl. $800 was so ridiculously high I am still in shock. Read moreWent in to buy a dryer. Now they have new ones at high prices. I bought a used one and asked them if it was tested. They said yes, it works. You can't try the dryer out, of course. It didn't come with a dryer cord amyway. The dryer is broken and won't turn on. They have a ridiculous return policy where you must bring things back in 3 days then get store credit. This is not the Habitat I remember. Everythingvis just going to hell these...
