VX is by far one of the best recreational facilities I've been to. Tried it out with a friend this summer having only been a few times in my life up to that point. We've both become members and climb two nights/week on average - such a great workout and good cross training as we are both runners and often lack upper body strength. We LOVE the staff - the Tues/Fri crews know us both by name! They are kind to everyone and so helpful. No plans to drop this membership, even if I have to sacrifice Netflix and Hulu...

Also the staff and owner are extremely nice and helpful. If you have any questions about anything like gear, beta for routes, or about the establishment they will eagerly help you. This place is great for beginners, really accessible climbing routes for first-day people and some difficult climbs for veterans. The gym has auto-belay systems, top-roping, and bouldering. I bought my membership after a few visits and I'm able to bring friends and family to try it out and they always have a blast. The staff is very helpful and will help you with anything you need.
