Color Nails — Attraction in Everett

Since moving to the Everett area a few years ago I have always seen this nail salon, Color Nails be the most busiest nail salon in the area. That alone I decided to give it a try. I have went their twice but had 3 different services; pedicure, fill & brows waxed. The first time I made an appointment was only for a fill & everything it entails. I had acrylic nails already from somewhere else I loved but since the move I wanted to try somewhere closer. Although it was busy when I arrived I only waited a short moment before I was seated to begin. The place was alright on the inside. It is not a dump by any means but it looks a little chaotic & in need of a refresher. I was pleasantly surprised though it didnt have that overwhelming smell of chemicals thankfully. The technician who did my nails was a kind female but I certainly felt rushed. She did everything in about 30 minutes and it showed. The nails were almost paper thin, some filed bumpy & uneven, and even disregarded my comment on a smudged nail that she did by accident. The price was a bit steep for a fill and definitely not worth the service I recieved. By the time I got home my thumb nail broke, just by lightly hitting it on my steering wheel as I turned into my driveway. Within 3 days 4 other nails broke and within 1 week it looked as if I never had a fill at all. I have been getting my nails done since I was 15 back in 2000 and this has never happened to me before so quickly and easily. None the less I decided to treat my 7 year old to a pedicure. She choose that place. I figured okay because it's just toes. We didnt make an appointment this time, just walk in. It was around 430pm & the place was pretty empty. We did have 2 different women tend to us. They were both very friendly with us. They could sense my daughters anxiety about someone other than me clipping her toes so they every step of the way they informed my daughter what they were doing. I thought that was nice. Our toes came out good, nothing special but not bad. They were fine. While there though I did see someone come out from getting her brows just waxed & they looked nice so I decided to get mine waxed too. The price was more than reasonable but I was soon to find out why. The wax was very hot and my brows came out so patchy, so uneven and spots of hair missing. She made my naturally thicker brows extremely thin like the width of a nail file, not kidding! I was so stunned I just paid the 10 bucks and we left. My 7 year old even asked me why my brows looked that way. On top of them super swollen to the point they were reddish purple and burned. Never have i gone back or will i again unfortunately. Came here the first time, Rose took a good care of me came back for the second time this other lady took me, first she tried to force me to do what I don’t want after I specific requested for a specific color, I wasn’t in the mood to argue with her after waiting for 40min to be in a chair, after she handed me the nails she wants me to pick from (like she’s paying for them) tell me why this lady up and leave and go start the doing another person’s nails? Without telling me a word then when I said something she gone say ohh it’s just a glue on her nail like I care, you could have told me that, I waited 40min am okay to wait another 5-10 as long you say something. So be aware of the that, you either gonna get forced to do some colors you have no plans on doing or they will get up and leave you in a chair to go take care of another customer without telling you a thing! Will be taking my business else where, where my money is worth...

myself and my two cousins scheduled appointments for 9:45a, 2 full sets and 1 pedicure. We got there at 9:44a and there were 3 ladies which you would think would be perfect since we scheduled 3 appointments, wrong! they took 3 walk-ins ahead of us leaving us sitting there. at 10:30a another lady walks in with an appointment for a pedicure and they immediately got her chair ready and seated her and at the point I was just over it so we walked out. I’ve went here off and on for the last 10yrs if not longer and I’ve never had this problem here. The ladies have always been amazing but as a person that works in customer service, not acceptable. They didn’t even communicate that they were running late but even still, they said 9:45a was the first appointment because that’s when they opened yet we sat there 45mins after our appointment time...
