YASAI BOWL — Restaurant in Everett

I went to enjoy a desert after a long day and a car accident I was involved in as a passenger!!! The girls that work there can be extremely unprofessional and catty they act as if they are better than you and competing with the customer (imagine that) and know absolutely nothing about you besides what you want from the menu. UNBELIEVABLE. InTense energy, negative atmosphere you can feel the weird vibes. The tall skinny girl tried to charge me $1 for an extra cup because mine was extremely sticky and dripping EVERYWHERE after them exaggerating on Nutella all over the cover that didn’t allow me to get to the rest of the fruit or açaí on the bow without making a mess. Like why would you put melting chocolate at the top instead of in between or the bottom… it’s only going to be a mess once I opened it as IT WAS and they all started speaking in portuguese about me. After hearing about this place and looking at the menu, I was extremely excited to try it out. However, that soon changed when I gazed into the window as I walked towards the door. I was disgusted beyond belief to see that not only were the staff NOT wearing masks (even though they have a huge sign on the store saying that customers need to wear masks), but I saw one specific worker wipe his mouth with a cloth and put it back down onto the counter. Said worker then proceeded to continuously scratch his head in between touching containers and various other items without washing his hands. I quickly walked back to my car and tried to process what I just saw. I’d like to think a business serving food would be more sanitary during a pandemic but I felt extremely unsafe and most likely will never return in the foreseeable future unless they sanitize everything in there. The workers are either liars or completely incompetent. I went to pick up an order from an app they're partnered with. The pick up time is at 10:30 P.M which is fairly late. I paid for my order a day in advance and when I show up I'm not only denied my order but that I don't have one. The excuse I was given was that it was for some brighton location they have.

I tried explaining that the app says the everett store and the reservation/order I made was for the everett store plus I had already paid ahead of time. I was still told no and that I was thinking of a different location. Instead of arguing any further I walked away back to my car. I then googled the brighton location only to find out there isn't one. There's only the everett store.

So either the staff are so incompetent they know absolutely nothing about the company they work for or are straight up liars. Both are bad and left me never wanting to...
