New South Asian Grocery in Everett! In the old Bartell’s building on Broadway. Immense store full of a big variety of Indian grocery and ingredients, frozen foods and cooking supplies. They are still setting up their produce area, but we’ve visited a few times and have high hopes for their success. The owners are very friendly. Go support them and stock up on lentils, rice, spices and produce!
UPDATE July 2025: We’ve been back a few times- and Grocery Singh is such a great addition to our area - they have the best selection of fresh and frozen food and supplies, spices, rices, snacks, tea, lentils and anything else you need to create a great feast or a small snack. Located in the old Bartell’s on Broadway, this store is spotless and has a friendly staff and huge assortment of international foods, and some American favorites as well. There is a freezer case with a selection of meats (although this store is a haven for vegetarians and vegans). There is a full supply of kitchenware and utensils, and many other housewares. They sell beverages, coffee and liquor as well. Don’t miss this place- we need to support our small businesses and Grocery Singh really does bring the world to our...
Read morei’m so happy that grocery singh is in the neighborhood! i came to the store at night, and found it to be much more pleasant than the safeway next door at night. i was greeted as i walked in, and the cashier offered to bag my groceries with the bags that i brought. which is something i never expect but it was kind of her to do so. (not to diss on the employees at safeway, just as a woman shopping alone i feel much safer here.) there’s a sense of community that’s not seen at large chain grocery stores. the store is very clean and shelves are well stocked. grocery shopping is difficult for people with sensory issues, but here i felt much more comfortable. the prices surprised me, i was able to get foods that i buy at other stores for much less. i’m excited to...
Read moreReview for Grocery Singh I had a wonderful experience at Grocery Singh! The store has a great selection of Indian groceries, and I was especially impressed by the amazing assistance from Prospero . Despite being of Indian origin, I struggled to find the items I needed, but Perspectivo was incredibly helpful. He patiently guided me through the store, helping me locate all the products I wanted, including a variety of spices and lentils. I was pleasantly surprised to learn he’s from Mexico, yet he knew all the Indian food names. He greeted us warmly, was polite throughout, and even thanked us at the end. Highly recommend this store for its products and...
