UPDATE: I would like to know why I have been trespassed from the stand? I did nothing to warrant being trespassed. I simply tried to use a gift card that was given to me for christmas and got the runaround multipal times and never was able to get my coffee. It was a waste of time and gas and a major frustration with it being christmas, but I never once did anything that would be considered anything that would need me to be trespassed. And actually now that i think about it, until I wrote this review, you had no idea who I was or even my name to trespass me. So you saw my review here and now my name and decided to trespass me because of the review?? Unbelievable. Just more proof for the lawyer I guess. But dont worry, I definitely dont plan on ever coming back to this stand. And I will make sure to let the ppl I know , exactly what happened. And as of today 1/3/24 there is still no refund attempt and no cup. Surprise surprise.

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would! Went with a friend on christmas eve and he bought me a gift card. The first issue was that they didnt bother to mention the fact they didnt have and gift cards! So the place the gift card that was being given to ME under my friends name and phone number. I'm not going to get into the details but let me tell you, this was a bad way to do business. They also have a promotion that all month long whe. You buy a "gift card" you get a free cup. The $ you spend determines the kind of cup you get. When my friend asked about the cup, he was toold no. No he couldn't have one.....um excuse me? I went back the next day to get my 1st coffee on this system where they pit it under the purchaser instead of the giftee. She asked me for my friends phone number so I did it and all the sudden she said you neednto get the pin from your friend. It was jist texted to them. Now hold up, why would anyone do business like this? Unfortunatly it was Christmas day and mu friend was unable to answer my repeated calls so I ended up having to leave without a coffee without a gift card without anything but wasted time and gas I finally talk to my friend (who never received any code) and the next day they went up to the stand. Spoke to "Tessa" who said that yea I coule have a regular gift card and to send me on up.... So I head up there anly to find Tessa not there and the girl working had no idea whay I was talking about. She said she would give Tessa a call. Tessa answered but said she would have to call back so I sat and I waited for a good 5 to 7 minutes before she finally called back when she did she informed the girl to tell me that I would have to enter in my friend's phone number and get a code etc etc. I said are you kidding me my friend was just here and that's not what Tessa said and all the girls said was a while I'm sorry. So I drove away empty-handed no coffee no gift card once again. This time less gas and More tears because it was Christmas Day and I was having a pretty bad day as it was. Talk to my friend my friend proceeds to go up to the stand I'm not exactly sure what happened but I do know that my friend called the cops because they have now taken the money and not provided what was purchased even though we have tried multiple times. And to top it all off I have a feeling that it has something to do with the fact that I am white and my friend is black. I hate to even think that people would be like that this day and age but after all of this I'm really starting to believe so. As of today December 27th there is still no resolution. They're still no coffee no gift card and they have the money. I would not recommend or buy anybody the business with the stand it has been nothing but a pain a waste of my time and gas a waste of my friends time and gas a waste of my friends money that they have now stolen. And they were just downright rude and it's a shame. I've been drinking Dietrich drinks for years. I had a serious problem at 16th and Broadway over a gift card for a friend. Long story, but every year I buy $200 in gift cards, this year I bought a card for $50.00 and they never gave my friend her drinks. I called the cops and reported theft. They have the money, but won't refund me or give me a card or the drinks. . I should get a discrimination attorney. Tracy the mgr. Is the problem. She allowed me to be ripped off. I can't believe Jasmine would allow her to rob her customers. I've been a paying customer for years. Always tipped. I'm never going near this place again unless I bring the cops cause they won't honor my $50.00 In their system, Tracy is racist. One star because I have to. I've neen to many stands with the Diedrich name because I love their coffee. I decided to try the stand on 16th and Broadway. Big mistake. The baristta (long brown hair) who took my order was fine, the barista ( blondish, messy bun) making coffee extremely rude. I asked for a 16oz americano in a 24oz cup with extra ice. She charged me for a 24 oz Americano with extra ice. I asked why, and she said, "I charge for the drink I make." I said "OK, I just want to clear though, why am I being charged for a 24oz when I asked for 16oz, in a bigger cup?" She could have told me that they just charge more for the bigger cup and I would have understood. Finally she says, "I'll just charge you for a 16oz bye!" I felt like she thought I was being rude, so I just wanted to explain myself so I said, "I was only asking a question." She said, "yes, and I just answered you. I charge for the drink I made, bye." I can't believe how rude she was. She also made mention to the other barista about how it's hard to hear customers when they are on the Broadway side, and she finds herself being "snippy" to them, often.
