As I was growing up, most of my friends in high school got into paintball and/or airsoft. They used to go and play together most weekends, but I came from a financially humble background, so I never had the extra money laying around to make the investment in the sports. They always had so much fun, and I knew I was missing out. Fast forward 20 years. I've settled into a healthy career, and I make good money. I started talking with my fiancee about checking out enough gear to go have fun with her and our girls. She liked the idea. She also liked pictures of a couple of the Glock airsoft models we looked at online together.
This past Monday, I loaded up the family in the car after I got our of work, and we headed over to New Breed. I had forgotten 99% of what I new about airsoft growing up, but Sky was amazing. All I knew was that I wanted a Glock for my lady and something different for myself, but we wanted to be able to use the same gas and ammo for both of our new pieces. The rest, though... Green gas or CO2? Not a clue. Specifically which model I wanted? Not sure. Maybe a 1911?
I gave Sky our criteria, and he patiently walked us through all of our options. Made sure we held some different options and liked the way they looked and felt. An 1911 for me? Maybe not. How about this HK VP9? He could tell I liked the way it looked and felt. I started asking about how I could accessorize my new toy. I asked about sights, which he could have sold me to make a quick extra buck off of me, but he advised me that a mounted flashlight would be much more practical and effective.
You can tell Sky is an honest man, and PASSIONATE about what he sells. He will do the right thing for his customers every time, never trying to take advantage of them for an extra dollar. Your satisfaction is definitely his top priority. Thank you, Sky, for taking your time with my family and I. Thank you for the reeducation after all these years. You are amazing. I'll be coming back to you for all my airsoft needs. My whole family and I are so...
Read moreTwo Mondays ago I decided to go to Newbreed Paintball in fair lawn because of the amazing and numerous Google and Facebook reviews. Little to no surprise that all of these wonderful reviews of this place are true. Upon arrival, I met with and was greeted by the owner, Sky, and his super knowledgeable gun tech, Brandon. I needed my Planet Eclipse marker serviced as I haven't used it in 7 years. Brandon showed his true expertise in explaining to me what needed to be done to service my gun. That same day, I spent at least an hour talking about paintball with the owner, Sky. He is definitely the friendliest and also most knowledgeable paintball store owner I've ever met. I've met some paintball store owners before but Sky made me feel more comfortable that my gun was at the right place. Also, Sky is amazing because he makes sure that he's not selling you a product you don't need and is not in the business to rip you off. Rather, he educates and informs you of your paintball needs to help you make the best educated decisions. I went back to pick up my gun on Thursday of that week and my gun was working again in pristine condition. Brandon diagnosed the problem to be a solenoid issue which he corrected but also changed all of the O-rings on my gun and allowed me to blank-fire it in the store. It was like music to my ears. I think what topped off my experience at the store was Sky showing me how to post up behind a bunker and how to practice snap shooting. All in all, this has been the best experience in going to a paintball store to get gun service done, to get tips on how to become a better paintball player, and to get advice on the type of equipment that you NEED and not that you want but don't need. I would recommend New Breed Paintball to anyone who is looking for an amazing paintball store that makes you feel like family, treats you with the utmost respect and compassion, and gives you the knowledge you need...
Read moreBeen going to this place for years now, as long as i can remember. Ever since I started playing paintball which was forever ago. Hands down the best place for paintball and airsoft I've ever been to and can garuntee it won't be changing. Earliest memories there was my friend and I getting an Empire BT-TM 15 and a Halo too(which sky helped us make an educated choice) Took it to the field the next day and had an absolute blast. Then going here took off from there. I go in here all the time. Even for the smallest things. A ball detent, 1 pod, gloves, no matter what. Even if it's cheaper somewhere else, ill always go here. It's not even just their amazing inventory, but I literally just enjoy being there. Staff is so helpful and friendly and makes me feel welcomed. The atmosphere is amazing and I'm super glad I have a place super close to home I can go to. Every single piece of gear I have is from them. Mask(which I just got a new one yesterday from them, great experience as always) lens, gun, tank, pod pack, jersey, literally everything and im glad it's from them. As said before even if I need something so small like a detent or a pod, even a headband I'll always go here, garunteed great experience. From all those years ago to now, never had 1 issue or bad thing. Hope to...
