TOP BAGELS & DELI — Restaurant in Fair Lawn

I typically am very anti-negatively reviewing restaurants, but I am so disappointed that I feel compelled to share my experience. I had ordered from this deli once before and items were missing from our order, we figured everyone has bad days so we thought nothing of it. Today, we placed an order that was an hour late being delivered and when I followed up at 30 minutes late, I was informed the order was already out for delivery, given that I only live 10 minutes away, I was very confused when it was another 30 minutes before the food came. The driver called me when she arrived, but the restaurant called me a minute later and tried to claim that I had not answered my door and the driver had to wait for 20 minutes. Given that the driver had just called me to say she had just arrived and ask which apartment we were in, I knew for multiple reasons that this was completely untrue. The food was cold and several items needed to just be thrown out because they were just too soggy to save. When the restaurant was contacted about this, their only response was that we could come to the store for a $5 gift card, so basically, we needed to be further inconvenienced for their lack of integrity and customer service. Needless to say, we will no longer be customers and I hope this review saves others from the same disappointment and waste...

Their sandwiches are next level—loaded, fresh, and perfectly balanced. The bagels themselves are soft, chewy, and somehow stay that way all day long (unlike most places where they go hard in a few hours). You can really taste the quality and care in every bite.

On top of that, the customer service is fantastic. The staff is always so friendly and welcoming—it’s the kind of place that remembers your name and your order. Whether you’re grabbing breakfast on the go or sitting down for lunch, the experience is always top-tier.
