We've heard good things about this park and it seems a popular place for hiding painted rocks. We met some friends here today and walked the trails with some toddlers and preschoolers. There were some nice spots for the kids to play in the stream and several people walking dogs to say hello to. Overall it was a quiet and low key place on a late Friday morning. There seems to be no dedicated parking, so we ended up parking on a neighborhood street and walking in. Unfortunately there was no map by the beginning of our trail so we kind of wondered around. We ended up on the tiny playground (consisting of a slide and two swings) to play and have a picnic lunch. I would have liked to have seen a map and had a better idea of where we were going but it was a small enough set of trails in the side we were on. I've marked the playground location on the screen shot I'm including (or trying to) with...
Read moreThe path in this park runs smoothly along a stream, passing residential houses, a school, and a wooded area. The majority of the path is made of dirt and gravel, shaded by trees. There are some slightly steep sections, particularly when entering the forest, for a distance of approximately 50 meters. There is a small playground located in the middle of the forest, with two play areas. Benches are placed along the path at regular intervals. There's no designated parking lot for this park, but you can park on the side of the road in front of the residences at the entrance. The trail in this park is a non-loop type (with a short loop trail section in the forest)
[Personal Opinion] This park is suitable for walking exercise; children and the elderly can walk it, but it is not suitable for strollers due to the...
Read moreDo I technically like bigger waterfalls and more scenic landscape views? Sometimes yes. But is this park perfect without those things? Absolutely yes. The trails are lovely, some are easy and some are a tiny bit challenging, but you can choose pretty much just by looking and it’s not so big that if you decide you don’t like the path you took, you can go back. However, at the same time (the real strength of this place being in the middle of a few small neighborhoods), you can feel lost in this park if you want to. I like to sit by the creek because I can tell that other people exist, but I can’t usually see them. So you’re safe, you’re with society, but you’re also one with...
