Main Street Center — Local services in Fairfax

This is one of their medium-sized stores. The prices recently took a jump, so I wonder if there's a new manager.

One thing to be very careful about is buying trunks or floor chests that can used as as a child's toy chest. At least one big wooden chest I found here was mounted on wooden wheels and looked perfect as a toy chest . EXCEPT, there was no effective catch or brake on the lid support arm, so it could easily slam down on a child's head or neck and cause serious injuries or death. I showed the problem to the manager on duty, but got only anger and argument as a response. Later, I saw a possible indication that the chest was being moved, but I don't know with certainty. You should avoid buying used chests that can be used to store kid's thing if the lid can fall and hurt theA couple years down the road and this is still an odd call shopping center. Hard to get into. Harder to get out of, and no one seems to have any common sense or courtesy for...

First time back after awhile (had stopped visiting this DD because of a loud/belligerent employee working early Sat mornings).

I now use the DD mobile app and order ahead. I decided to try the main st location again because they had pumpkin donuts available (also noticed the prices at main st location are higher than other area locations ~ 20% higher on most items).

Anyway, when I went to pick up my order, the donuts were missing and one of the two coffee drinks was wrong. Got the donuts before I left but didn't realize the coffee was wrong until I got home (my fault - but coffees did not have the usual identification stickers on them).

It was very early Saturday - I was the only one in the store when I was picking up so it wasn't that the workers were swamped - mostly inattentive.

Main Street Center a strip mall with almost every amenity available for the asking. On this particular evening, I stopped at this location to fuel up the vehicle at local Shell gas station. A well-lit facility with 7 pumps available minus one that was out of service. Anyway, the gas here was a little pricy than normal and the store was closed and unmanned, so getting a quick snack and drink were out of the question at that moment.
