I have been here several times since my first visit and tried many things. I am a major fan of Pho and have tried may places similar to this in the area. While the exterior of the building may leave you questioning your decison, the interior is very welcoming and cozy. It is always clean and the staff are very attentive, gretting you almost immediately. Even yhe cooks are very sweet and help put on the floor during the busier rushes.
The chicken dishes, wether with rice or noodles, are delicious and the reason I have returned as often as I have. The food is clean and clearly made with care. The portions here are also rather large so be sure to bring your appitite. Many of the appitizer such as the egg or spring rolls are also very flavorful and amongst my may favorites here.
Sadly, the Pho (soup itself) is mediocre and my least favorite of everything I have tried. The noodles, meat and veggies in the soup are just like any traditional pho. The main issue here is the broth. It is very lackluster and tasted like boxed broth from the nearest convenient store. I have had bad pho before but this one is by far my least favorite. I ordered it mutliple times over several visits just confirm it wasnt a bad batch but it was just as bad each time. I noticed many of the pateons who order soup often eat the fillings and leave the broth behind. I hope, with time, they will try to improve the recepie for the soup.
Either way, I still plan on...
Read moreIf you like Four Sisters, you have to try this place for Vietnamese food, it taste as if you're in Vietnam. It is more authentic, meaning more flavor and spices than most Viet restaurants outside of Eden. I dare say, their soups is better than Huong Viet and Rice Paper.
See for yourself, everytime we went, I also saw other Viet people eating here. Been here, two times for lunch and one time for dinner with my husband. He's been here a few times without me for lunch so that tells you something! Service is perfect, I usually get the bun bo hue special (bc it comes with everything) and my husband gets the pho. Didn't take photos because we go here with our toddler (so more busy with keeping him occupied) which by the way, if you have kids they actually give you a scissor and bowl for the little guys for sharing. Our toddler usually eats my bun bo hue ham, pho meat, noodles, and egg rolls. Today, I actually got the Che Ba Mau (three color dessert), it's the best one I had from a restaurant/bakery in awhile and even better than what you can get at the Eden center.
At Eden, the beans are too mushy, here the beans are just right, their jelly is chewy, plus they toss in this white fruit thing. So if you know this dessert, you'll appreciate it my fellow Vietnamese Americans, or if you just want to try something new, check this place out! I'm honestly shocked that this place doesn't have at...

Ordered a large beef pho and fresh summer rolls (shrimp, pork, lettuce, herbs, and cucumber all in a rice paper roll).
The summer rolls were pretty bland and didn’t have any pork in them, which probably accounted for the missing flavor I was expecting. The greens were fresh though and dipping sauce was plentiful and tasty.
The pho broth is very well salted but flavorful. The meats were well packaged and amount matched the cost ($12). All of the usual sides were included to-go
A carry out charge is added for each item purchased, which seems ridiculous. I wasn’t told about it, it wasn’t until I got home that I saw it on my receipt. I could understand a flat amount for the order to account for the napkins and spoon, but $1 for an order of rolls is 20% of the cost of the actual rolls and then another $1 for the pho. And this is on top of tip. $24 for a single meal, take out, is steep
The food is still pretty good though and my order was ready on time. Not sure I’ll be back frequently because of the missing pork and the upcharge. Small things...
