It was a okay Hot Pot. My favorite Braw was the Braised Chicken, it smells so good when it came, it's spicy but acceptable. My friends order the pork bone soup and Chinese herbal soup, that one smells really good too. Really Fresh Vegetable except for the Enoki mushroom. Their meats are too old, freeze meat and it's chewy, just don't order the chicken or beef. But sometime their beef was okay. I think they served me the leftover meat that other customer didn't use, because the meat doesn't look like fresh cut, fresh cut meat should have a Cone shape. but the old meat looks like it already been pick up by chopstick. I hope this is not true. Their seafood it's really fresh except for the crab. we order two crab, but two crab doesn't mean "two crab" it actually mean one crab that cut in half. I understand they cut in half to make it easy to cook. But the two half crab its not even came from same crab! Pretty disappointed by that, but I forgive it because it's a all you can eat. Their drinks are too overpriced. DO NOT BUY THE DRINKS UNLESS YOU DONT CARE. Just drink the water, water is free. Their serving it's really fast, I like it.

I don't think I will come back to eat again. I just don't think the meat it's good, It's like eating a mystery box. You just don't know is it fresh or old.

Forgot about the sauce bar and music, The sauce bar was amazing, but the soy sauce doesn't taste good, it also has another taste..... taste like dish soap? Where they kept soy sauce? I'm so recommend the garlic sauce and Shacha sauce, these two are the best, make sure put some Green onion.

Now speaking the music, the music they are playing are Chinese music, and I think they are repeating playing same playlist, I could tell because I had ate here three time already, and everytime I'm listen to same music, I wish they have new playlist, the one we all could listen to. But I don't think I will come...

You can eat here and it’s fine.. as long as you fit their standard if you know what I mean.

They’re blatantly discriminatory.

Let me preface that I’m biracial, mixed with black. I was the only black person in the whole restaurant which is already slightly uncomfortable. It was fine for the first few minutes my friends and I were in there. But we soon realized that something was off. While one of the workers was explaining to us the new menu system, he mentioned how this wasn’t the place to eat if you were on a diet. He said this to my plus sized friends… It took about half an hour before we were served any food. Which is fine when you’re busy. But in this case they weren’t. We ordered plates of vegetables, sides, pork and chicken. The pork didn’t come out until after we asked about it 3 times. All the while many other tables were being served mountains of meat. The meat they did bring out was chicken. However, it wasn’t actually chicken. I wish I took a picture of it. It was so unlike chicken that we had to ask the waitress what it was. We later came to the realization that they gave us scraps of fat. And not even a serving enough for more than one person. We knew this couldn’t be right, because the photo on their NEW menu showed the usual rolled strips of chicken breast that is served at hot pot bars. When I asked the waitress about, she hurriedly left the table after saying they didn’t have any. Ok.. so why not inform us of that before hand. Fat is not meat. When we came a few months ago, the restaurant was under different management and called 99c hotpot. It was lovely. If only it...

This place used to be decent, but sad how has become so bad. We went there three days ago and honestly it was one of the worst services that I have experienced. At first, it wasn't busy and we were seated quickly but after that it took about 10 min for the server to come. He was angry or we felt that he didn't wanted us there but we still placed our order. We waited about 10 min for our food which wasn't what we have requested. We order drinks which he didn't bring to us, and after 10-12 min we ran out of food. This is a AYCE place so you expect the server to check in often but of course it didn't happen. We were waiting 15 min for him to come and then I have to ask him for my drinks, after that we were waiting another 15 min, so I asked another server for my drinks and for more food. They ended up bringing 2 portions of meat which were extremely small(1 of the portion had 7 slices of meat!!) but the drinks did never come. I saw them be very attentive with other people(ASIANS) but terrible with us. If you don't want Non-ASIANS, please clarify outside "SERVICE ONLY FOR ASIANS" and we don't bother you guys. After this terrible service I have to go find the server for our check and after 10 min he brought the check and surprisingly he charged all the items we asked for, including the drinks which I asked twice and yes, he charged twice!!!!. We're paying only for asking, but we did never receive our food. Please have a little bit of respect and don't be so miserable with...

My recent visit to Sichuan Legend in Fairfax with friends was a delightful exploration of authentic Sichuan flavors, leaving us impressed and eager to return. We indulged in an array of dishes, with the fatty beef and Shrimp paste emerging as the clear favorites. The beef, rich and tender, paired perfectly with the uniquely savory Shrimp paste, creating a harmonious blend of textures and flavors. Equally noteworthy were the Tomato soup and the Pork bone - each offering a comforting and aromatic experience. The Tomato soup, with its fresh, tangy essence, provided a refreshing counterpoint to the heartier dishes. The Pork bone, slow-cooked to perfection, fell off the bone and melted in our mouths, infused with deep, robust flavors. To accompany our meal, we chose Herbal tea, which I highly recommend. Its soothing qualities and subtle herbal notes complemented the spicy Sichuan dishes beautifully, enhancing the overall dining experience. The ambiance of Sichuan Legend added to our enjoyment. The restaurant, seemingly newly renovated, boasted a clean, welcoming interior with tasteful decor, contributing to a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. In summary, Sichuan Legend is a must-visit for anyone seeking authentic Sichuan cuisine in Fairfax. The combination of delicious food, a comfortable setting, and attentive service makes it an excellent choice for both casual diners and connoisseurs of Chinese cuisine. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

My visit to Sichuan Legend Hotpot and More was a flavorful journey into the world of AYCE hotpot. My significant other and I opted for the Tom yum soup base and the Sichuan broth base, and we were not disappointed. The hotpot offerings were undeniably good; however, there was one aspect that left me less than thrilled—the ordering method. It wasn't clearly communicated that we "had to" use a digital QR code to access the menu, which led to some unnecessary waiting and confusion. In this era of technology-driven ordering, I couldn't help but long for the simplicity of face-to-face interaction with our server. As someone with a long background in hospitality, I believe that human touch plays a pivotal role in the dining experience. After all, hospitality is about service, and without the personal connection, it's hard to distinguish a restaurant from ordering takeout at home. Setting aside the ordering process, Sichuan Legend Hotpot and More is a respectable establishment, especially considering its price point. We indulged in a feast that left our hearts content and our stomachs happily full. It's a place that offers value for your money, and I wouldn't hesitate to return for another round of hotpot goodness. So, despite the digital ordering quirks, it's definitely worth a visit if you're in the mood for some satisfying hotpot dining.

Our overall experience was not one that we would recommend. They advertise a lunch special from 11 to 3, but it is not noted anywhere that it is not available on weekends. We stopped in exclusively for the smaller lunch portions, but decided to stay And give it a chance Because of an advertised scan and download app reward. It offered to “save eight dollars instantly” and earn every time you order, however it is not advertised that dine in is not allowed for the eight dollar offer or point reward. A simple, misunderstanding and lack of clear rules would not normally lead me to leave a review, However… My boyfriends sweet-and-sour chicken was primarily flavorless, breading and unseasoned, barely cooked green peppers, two pieces of pineapple and raw onion. It reminded us of McDonald’s McNuggets. My moo shu pork was barely warm and was quickly cold halfway through. After an upgrade price of $2.50 for only one cup of burnt tasting plain fried rice without veggies or egg, our total was over $45 after tip. Maybe the hotpot is better but the “&more” is not great. Hopefully today was a fluke but we won’t be anxious to try again soon when there are much better options for $20+ a person restaurants in fairfax.
