The lady behind the counter held an order in her hand and called out the name of an order with meat on it. No one responded. Then, she asked me what I ordered. I reminded her of my vegetarian order. She smiled and told me that she had my vegetarian order, despite having called out an order with meat in it just beforehand with the same order in her hand. The order ended up having meat in it. I thought she had the order name wrong but discovered the meat (that couldn't be seen without pulling apart the order) by biting into it.
So, the lady behind the counter likely knew the order had bacon in it and still assured me the order was correct when I told her what I had ordered.
Less importantly, one of the coffee carafes was empty, limiting coffee options to one kind of coffee as well. I understand that it may have been busy earlier, so the coffee issue made sense. But handing me a meat sandwich and correcting herself by falsely calling it vegetarian after she asked me to repeat what I had ordered...
Read moreI looked up this location on Google (and double-checked the Einstein website). It was supposed to be open at 7:30am and I was stopping by on my way to work. First off, this is on campus, so parking STINKS! Luckily it was summer so it wasn't TOO bad. Then, I walked up and the door at about 750 and saw the sign on the door, summer hours, opening at 8am. (Einstein's Website did NOT have the summer hours listed.) Then, with a few of us waiting, the door opened right at 8am (not early). After the service person took their time taking care of the person in front of me, I finally got to place my order. Only to have them tell me that they don't take Einstein Brother's Gift cards (because they are on campus).
