I live across the street and used to come to the Pho place, but as a lover of true authentic Mexican food, I was excited to see what this new place was going to offer. I have been twice now and holy moly it is just SO SO good! Simple food, fresh ingredients, bright flavors, nothing heavy or Americanized; everything real Mexican food should be! The al pastor burrito was heavenly; the pork was slightly charred and spicy combined with the bright, sweet pineapple, just perfect; put the hot fresh rice, pinto beans, pico, and cilantro; just delicious, nothing else needed! They have a wonderful bright and spicy habanero salsa on the table. I also have a sensitive stomach but after I have eaten here I feel completely fine, no problems no matter how spicy. That’s how I know it is fresh real ingredients; it is also not too heavy and doesn’t make me groggy even after a big burrito. Exactly what I’ve always loved about simple, authentic Mexican food. These guys are also really nice and it’s a good vibe in there, you don’t feel out of place coming in there alone. I wish them all the best, you gotta check this...

Al pastor taco - 4/5, very good al pastor. Sweet, spicy, and just a well done taco.
Birria taco - 5/5, this was my favorite by far. The consomme was amazing and you get two tacos with this one. Tacos-wise I think this is the best bang for your buck on the menu. This will be a...

I asked her If I could have a steak burrito with guacamole in it. She told me yes, but when the burrito arrived the guacamole was on the side in a cup. After a couple bites it became evident to me that this was a waste of money. The “steak” burrito was mostly comprised of black beans and rice, and the scarce pieces of meat in it weren’t even flavorful/seasoned well. To make matters worse, the music they played was loud...
