Fairfield Free Public Library — Attraction in Fairfield

So this library- it’s had had almost the same people working in this place since I was in my teens. There has been many changes and looks so modern outside and inside, including the park-however-the customer service for a library can sometimes be unprofessional. If you work in a library-you are providing customer service and it should be 100% professional. I believe the taxes that we pay-provide this building and its employees to have a job. So next time someone asks a simple question… like “ do you carry x?” The employee should answer in a professional matter. Needs better...

The place is clean, well-maintained and has a friendly atmosphere. Great activities for all ages if you need something to do during the day.

However, it is NOT GOOD for studying when there are events taking place, and the attendees are being loud. I wish the staff could advise them to keep the noise down or move the event to a designated event room. The noise can be very distracting at times. I wish there were more private study spaces/quiet spaces and staff regulating the noise level.

Worst library hours too - are there no college students in town? Why has no one...

absolutely horrible. All the workers do not have any respect. Bathroom is hidden and dirty and have poor old people playing betting games, there are kids being extremely disrespectful and being really loud, all the books are ripped and old. No dog man books, no captain underpants book, no naruto books, no stick dog books, no any books. I hate it. It is absolutely bad. I am never coming here ever again. DO...
