I ordered a torta de bistek, on their website with this sandwich you can add many things to your sandwich one of which was mayo. I did not choose that option because I don’t like mayo. When my sandwich arrived, it had mayo. I then called the store to tell that I did not order mayo on my sandwich, if they can have the driver come back with my corrected sandwich, and I would give them back the incorrect sandwich they made. I spoke with jasmin, she said that unfortunately their website is a bit weird and that the sandwich comes with mayo. I said the website does not state that. She said that she can give me store credit. I said what am I going to do with store credit and that I wanted my sandwich corrected. She said let me speak to my manager. She comes back to tell me that they can’t correct my sandwich because they ran out of bread. At that point I was furious and personally drove to the store and they gave me my money back. My family and I have been coming here for years and loved it. Tonight we arrived a little before 9 ready to have a great dinner like many times before. We walked to the counter to be told that although it was more than hour before closing, anything we ordered had to be to go. When asked why the cashier/waiter retorted that this was the policy. In all the years we have been dining at the restaurant we had never been told this, and trust me we have been there later than this before. There was noone else at the restaurant and it truly seemed like she just wanted to avoid cleaning anything up and/or to leave early. This was especially disappointing given my family doesn't live close and we met there coming from different places after work and extracurricular activities, to have dinner. Truly disappointing. Ordered from here 4 times now. Food is always spot on. I think these bad reviews are just Karens being Karens. Some of them are about the deliveries, which they don't have any control over through Doordash, Grubhub, and Ubereats. You got Chipotle, Qdoba, and Bubakoos all nearby. If you choose to go to ANY of them instead of here, you sincerely have made a mistake. This place is utterly legit. They will continue to get my business, and that of anyone I've shared their food with. There is a solid reason they're still around when so many places in our area have unfortunately closed.
