Millicent Library — Attraction in Fairhaven

I live a city away from Millicent, and actually have a library not even two minutes up the street from my house. But I will absolutely go out of my way to visit Millicent. The librarians are amazing. And super helpful and so kind. The variety of books,movie, CD's are impressive. Not to mention the library itself is just absolutely gorgeous. It's all together a very impressive library. I love spending time in their. I definitely recommend it to people even if they don't really have any interest in borrowing a book, or partaking in any of the many items and events Millicent has to offer. Just stop in and sneak a peek. It's a gorgeous historic building and it's a really cool spot to check out if you're taking in Downtown Fairhaven and it's history. No liberty and justice here. A good patron personable felt like home. Was told due to my size and my hood down once I was scary. Not told then to keep it down. Immediately after holding an apple in one hand a SHEATHED paring knife in the other at front desk "the knife",instead we don't allow,was taken a back. We visit the library almost every week! My boys love to read in the library and we borrow CDs too for the whole family to watch during weekends with popcorn or cookies and milk. The ladies working there are very nice and approachable. Literally helps you with every way they can and they're very sweet too. We love visiting the library of all places.
