The Ice Cream Cottage — Restaurant in Fairhaven

Where are usually give you guys a August Ave. but I’m really not happy that you’re not open during the week evenings until Labor Day at least and Google maps said you were open tonight which is August 30 at the night of a blue moon and we brought six people out for ice cream at 8:30 and it was closed so you think about that. We want to come back to support our local business here but the fact that it is not open even though Google says the business is open is frustrating. Sp anyway just give you all some feedback. We took a bike ride on the Phoenix Rail Trail-Mattapoisett Rail Trail such a beautiful trail. We parked across the street from The Ice Cream Cottage and decided on ice cream cones after a ride. The staff was so friendly and patient as we looked over the menu so many choices!! We got a small Espresso Brownie Fudge waffle cone and a Mocha Peanut Butter waffle cone. A nice little place right at the end of the rail trail. They serve Acushnet Creamery ice cream and homemade hot fudge, both of which are fantastic.
