If I could give ZERO stars, I would but unfortunately to leave a review I have to leave at least something. I have to say if you want to be treated fairly as a Customer, especially a NEWCOMER, then DON'T COME HERE! It was my first time ordering from them, I was really excited based on all the positive reviews & even my sister who had a great experience with them. I made a order for both my mother & I about an hour & a half before they were going to close, I ordered 2 LG. Shrimp Frd Rice, Beef & Broccoli, Beef Terr. & 1 Lge BONELESS Spareribs & 1 Lge. BBQ Spareribs (bone in), First off the woman who picked acted as if she didnt want to take the order, anyways I picked up my order got all the way home and discovered the food was a joke. Instead of my order of BBQ Spareribs I got 2 orders the reg, (BONE-IN) spareribs which for the price of it being one side was not worth it, it looked like a small. Second the beef & broccoli came with a sized side of white rice that looked like it belonged in a child's food play kit. The box of rice was so small for the beef & broccoli dish (which was for my mother by the way), it was just insane. NEVER have I EVER been to any Chinese joint & been served BEEF & Broccoli like that, even the B&B itself didnt even look that appetizing. Nothing that I got was even that good. I also noticed that my card was overcharged from $54.27 to $65 Due to my dissatisfaction I called the nxt day 2 speak w/h the manager & explained to him my dissatisfaction & just wanted a refund. He proceeded to tell me he was busy at the moment & would call back within in an hour, he proceeded to txt my phone with the receipt to show they did not overcharge it was something on my banks end, so we got that squared away but when it came to talking the possibility of getting a refund, he did not feel like it was necessary. I kept telling him that I was not satisfied especially being a first time customer & that I wanted my money back he would not budge. I have never been to a restaurant that would not give me my money back, nor try to accommodate me another meal for bad service. THIS MANAGER DID NEITHER. HE WAS ARROGANT, RUDE & DISRESPECTFUL! I never cussed at him, yelled i even told him I didn't want 2 argue just 2 be given my money back but it was just too much to "ask for" clearly. I advise anyone in this area interested in some good Chinese to look elsewhere. It was not going to kill this man's business to give me my $$ back considering how long it's been around, but his service & food completely TURNED ME OFF! NEVER AGAIN WILL I EAT NOT RECOMMEND ANY1 TO THIS PLACE! IT IS A JOKE, WITH A GREEDY MONEY HUNGRY MANAGER. No type of proper customer satisfaction whatsoever. Sorry for the long review but I have to school any1 who is even considering this place to KEEP DRIVING! IT...
Read moreI was so disappointed in my experience here I had such high hopes because the way everyone was raving about this place on Facebook and I'm always in search of good Asian food unfortunately, the reality is people around here Do not know what good Asian cuisine is. I got a combination plate boneless spare ribs that were dry like jerky fried rice that had no flavor other than the onions and beansprouts. I got a side of chicken teriyaki that was so dry as well It was like jerky and they knew it because they dumped a whole mess of teriyaki sauce in the bag with it that spilt everywhere and made a big mess. If you look at the pictures I have included one of them you can't even tell if it's the stick or the teriyaki chicken. That's how dry it was. It was barely edible .The only thing that was somewhat good was the beef teriyaki and that was just OK. I was rooting for this place and they failed me. A combination plate and a six piece teriyaki almost $30 come on. I feel ripped off honestly. I will stick with my...
Read moreWahmays was always a favorite of my family. For over 30 years I've been eating here. The quality has gone down the last decade. I purchased my usual pupu platter and was disappointed. The fried shrimps used to be large and are now so tiny with barely any batter causing the whole shrimp itself to be crunchy and unchewable. The wontons and ragoons have barely any meat/filling in them anymore. The egg rolls used to have tiny shrimps, and pieces of spare ribs, now they are mostly the veggies they use to fill them. The chicken fingers are tiny now, mostly batter and even the batter barely covers the chicken pieces. The platters used to cost $17 two years ago and now are $22. For that price I'll be eating at Ming's which is an all you can eat chinese/sushi buffet with better quality food. I will not be returning even after this place has been a family favorite for...
