La Tingeria is a standout destination for anyone craving halal tacos. During my recent visit, I had the pleasure of trying their chicken tinga, birria taco, and beef quesadilla, and each dish was absolutely delicious.
Chicken Tinga Taco: The chicken tinga taco was a burst of flavor. The chicken was tender, well-seasoned, and packed with just the right amount of heat. The fresh tortilla was the perfect vessel, complementing the savory chicken and providing a delightful texture with every bite.
Birria Taco: The birria taco was a highlight of the meal. The meat was incredibly juicy and flavorful, cooked to perfection with a blend of spices that made every bite a pleasure. Paired with the birria consomé, which was rich and savory, dipping the taco elevated the experience to another level. The consomé added depth to the flavors and was simply delicious.
Beef Quesadilla: The beef quesadilla was another winner. Filled with succulent, well-seasoned beef and melted cheese, it was grilled to a crispy perfection. The combination of the tender beef and gooey cheese was fantastic, and the quesadilla was satisfying and hearty. Like the birria taco, dipping it in the consomé added an extra layer of deliciousness.
What truly makes La Tingeria special, besides the fantastic food, is the exceptional staff. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warm smiles and friendly service. The staff is attentive and genuinely cares about your dining experience, making you feel right at home. Their dedication to freshly made food is evident in every dish.
In summary, La Tingeria offers an outstanding dining experience with its fresh and flavorful halal tacos and quesadillas. The chicken tinga, birria taco, and beef quesadilla are all must-tries, especially when paired with the delectable birria consomé. Combined with the welcoming and friendly staff, La Tingeria is a place you’ll want to visit again and again. Highly...
Read moreI've been missing out. I've passed the Falls Church location so many times and never stopped in. Then my "brother" who owns a restaurant in the area mentioned it one time as well. So this past Saturday, I told my wife we were going there for lunch.
We found parking right away, which I was happy about. When we walked in, there was a line and the only 2 tables that were inside were taken. However, the ones outside were available. No big deal. I ordered 2 Beef Birria Tacos and my wife had 1 Beef Birria Taco and 1 Hal Pastor Taco. I also ordered the elote cause I saw someone eating one and I got the craving for one. lol.
Once we ordered, we went outside and sat at a table and then the buzzer went off that our food was ready. I walked in and a table was freed up so we moved inside to eat. My tacos were amazing. Some places I go to, the birria is really spicy or lacking something. But these birria tacos were not spicy, until you put them in the consumme. Then it had a good kick. My wife didn't try the consumme cause she's not a fan of spicy food. However, she bit into the Hal Pastor and she was like "Man, this one is really spicy." It was so spicy she couldn't eat it. Her mouth was on fire for a bit but she ate some of the elote and drank the mango water, which helped a bit. The elote itself was really good once you put some of the lime on it.
My wife and I plan to go back but this time she wants to try the birria eggrolls. I may just try the...
Read moreWe went in for the first time on a Saturday night and we were the only customers in the store. We were looking at the menu when the staff asked us if it was our first time there. We chatted a bit and asked for recommendations. Another staff member had come out from the kitchen and also recommended the tostadas and the consumme. So we decided to order one tostada, one goat birria, one beef birria, and beans. My husband originally wanted rice as well, but he decided against it in the end.
The man that had come out from the kitchen brought out two tostadas and let us know that they were on the house. We were so surprised and appreciative of the gesture. The tostadas were loaded and juicy and crispy. Then the rest of our order arrived. The tacos are delicious! They're so good. We realized we also got an order of rice, but they didn't charge us. How nice!
When we finished our tacos and carried about our night, we decided to go again the next day. Highly recommend getting tacos here! Food is delicious and staff are super friendly and kind. Parking is hard though since they only have...
