Italian Cafe — Restaurant in Falls Church

We hosted a large family reunion at their private room and were delighted with everything. We've done the same at other venues (i.e. Maggianos) and the Italian Cafe's service, food quality and, especially, cost were far better than other places. The owner carefully selected a choice of three delicious and hearty entrees with complete accompaniments (bread, salad and a yummy tiramisu dessert) at an exceptionally reasonable cost. As always 1st off the bathroom? Clean and maintained if not a little small for the men's room. A good start and a wonderful meal. After being warmly greeted upon arrival we were seated in one of three dining rooms. We had 2 salads, 2 delicious Italian dinners and 2 soft drinks for $44. My wife had a chicken and pasta dish and I had manicotti. Try the meatballs they're home made. I like family owned restaurants. This place has a home town local joint feel. Our entrees came with a basic house salad and bread. The food was simple but tasty. We ordered a lot of food and enjoyed almost everything. The pizza was good too.

We had the house wine which was not cheap. That was a bummer. With abundant food a second glass would have been nice but at $7 for a small glass, we decided against it.

Home made food for an affordable price is good. So so decor is okay. Adding options for econo beer and wine would be a simple and easy fix to...
