They are still figuring things out here - although they have other locations so I am not sure why. The bad: the music was way too loud in the dining area - and it was 80s hard rock which is an odd genre for people trying to eat and converse in the dining room especially at a fairly high price point. It could benefit from being toned down both in volume and in genre. I felt like I was at a football game or in a bar (not a restaurant). Speaking of bar - the cocktails were on the weak side (my husband wondered if his Manhattan was a mocktail) and they didnât have a great array of liquor available so I had an odd version of a lemon drop martini (with grapefruit instead of lemon vodka). Another MAJOR bar issue - they use YouTube TV. Itâs a Saturday with tons of college football games. Like, what? You donât get ESPN2? If you have a bar you need to act like a bar. Donât be cheap - pay the fee to get normal mainstream channels! We had to check scores on our phones because they couldnât play the game. The table beside us also requested a different channel and I could hear those patrons also muttering something about YouTube TV so it was not just us! On the plus side, the food was good and the service was pleasant. Both steak and seafood were cooked well and the wedge salad was tasty (thought they charged us an extra $5 to split it which seemed a bit âextraâ.) Veggies were cooked perfectly. So - go for the food - but not anything else!!! The location is also weird and I would be surprised if they are still there in 2 years. Itâs a huge space for how many people were there on a Saturday night. We liked it ok but there are definitely better choices out there...
Read moreWe gave it a second chance, but sadly the experience was worse. They are neighbors and invited the neighbors to have free dinner on a Wednesday night. When we arrived, the host told us the deal was just an appetizer and if you ordered a paid entree, you get a free dessert. Well, we ordered two entrees because we wanted dessert, but while ordering the waiter told us it is only 1 dessert per table. So I told her that was not initially told before ordering. The lady owner of the place arrived and I explained that her host told us there was free dessert with the order of a paid entree, she said no, it is one per table. I told her this was not explained to us before ordering, but she said "who cares, it is free anyway". I tried to reason with her that wherever you go, if you got a promotion, coupon, offer, etc, you have to disclosed what is being offered, but she didn't care and this is the second time I feel they don't care about customers. Food is average and overpriced, their waiters "forget" what you have ordered and are "cleaning" before you while eating. Nothing particularly good...
Read moreI loved this restaurant and I'm glad it's a new addition to the area. The staff was very attentive and nice & the vibe was cool it's one of those places where you get great food and service but you feel you can dress in a T shirt or a suit, anything really flies. The portions we got for the price were great, I mean we were very full and happy with the quality of the food. The salmon was delicious , perfectly cooked, and huge, & I thought the sauce on the mussels was fantastic & there were lots of muscles. Super nice owners and the manager came and talked to us for a bit after. Our server was a young, super nice guy who did a good job but I could sort of tell it was his first restaurant job, but we learned he's only been there for a week and I mean he still did a LOT better than some service I've gotten in other upscale restaurants. Speed of food out the kitchen was also good.
All in all I strongly recommend this restaurant you should absolutely go...
