Update: I've been meaning to give a descriptive review ever since my first purchase. I was on the first days of my menstrual and was feeling exceptionally out of whack and just hormonally and emotionally all over the place. I had just went to a grocery store because I wanted a warm cup of tea to soothe me. But I wasn't resonating with any of the boxed teas I was seeing. I searched for tea near me and Chioma came up. Without hesitation I drove there. And I'm incredibly glad I did. I was greeted by such a warm and welcoming energy that instantly made me feel good and safe. And I met Miss Chioma herself, and she is absolutely magical. She took the time to explain different herbs to me and the services that they offer and just had a great overall energy. With how out of whack I was feeling, to walk into such warm energy, I almost wanted to cry. Happy tears. And Miss Chioma, is incredibly sweet with just the most inviting energy that I absolutely loved talking to her. I ended up buying a couple different bags of herbs to make the perfect tea at home. And for what i was wanting, the herbs I got with help from Miss Chioma, were absolutely perfect. They make me feel amazing and mellowed out especially on my cycle. I booked this place for my sister as a gift sometime back. I made sure to research whether pregnant women could get massages at respective stages, and I even spoke with someone at the business to see she would be/if her condition was okay.

Ironically, I share a name with this business and thought my sister would get a kick out of it.

Welp, my sister arrived for her appointment and was turned away. They said most of their services, including the ones included in the packaged I’d booked, couldn’t be conducted on a pregnant woman.

Frustrated that I was told something completely separate once I’d paid, yet understanding they wished to respect the safety of a pregnant woman, I asked if it was possible to postpone or get some sort of credit for my sister to use later.

That was denied, then I was told we may have to pay a fee for cancelling the appointment.

At the time, I didn’t see anything/any warning about pregnant women being unable to book certain services. Nor was there any sort of questionnaire.

I don’t know what kind of game this business is playing at, nevertheless, I’m posting about our experience here just so no one else is subjected to such confusion.

Not to mention a waste of money and dismissive service, instead of trying to fix their blunder and take any of the shared accountability...
