This place seems like it's unsure if it wants to be a night club or a restaurant. We came in for lunch and the place was empty with a number of flies just fluttering around. The floors were oily and there was dj equipment and hookahs lining the back wall. The staff was friendly and offered suggestions when asked, their system was down so we had to pay through zelle which was uncomfortable. Aside from this the food was absolutely amazing the downside of it though was two big things. The hour long wait time and the microwaved sides. We could tell after 20 minutes of waiting that the fry oil wasn't even heated until they got an order in. We had to wait for the oil to heat up before he was able to even cook the food. Besides this, hearing the microwave in the kitchen ding indicating our Mac was done was kind of a let down, you'd figure it would have been prepared the day of but tasted like it was made the night before. The chicken was the highlight but it shouldn't take an hour to get cooked wings for three. We were late getting back to work. This place has so much potential. If it dedicated itself to being a restaurant and ditched the wierd night club aesthetics it could be THE lunch spot in this city, it just needs to improve it's atmosphere and cook time. I'd really like to give this place another...
Read moreHad to wait a few weeks to try this spot because of construction on Midway but we’ll worth the wait.
First impression - Good, mellow vibe. Nothing too overbearing. Tons of TVs (8 if I remember correctly). The ones in near the sitting area were all showing the NFL draft today, definitely a game day friendly spot. The other TVs were displaying the menu and real photos of each item on the menu.
Customer - A+++ for sure! We were greeted by Alex and this man knows how to make you feel welcome. Let us try sauces (which is great when you’re going to a new restaurant), super engaging and provided recommendations based on my wife and my flavor preferences. They also have sweets, we got the mini bundt cakes (red velvet and strawberry lemonade). There were 6-8 different flavors and a few mini pies also.
The Food - First, the portions are ENORMOUS!!!! Tenders and wings are legit the size (length and width) of an iPhone 14 (no, not exaggerating). Generous portions of sides too (definitely get the Cajun fries). Chicken is juicy AF with a wonderful crunch, fries are crispy (and if you get the Cajun style, they are covered in seasoning. You’d think they coated get fry individually), the Mac is creamy and well seasoned! Everything was exactly how Alex described it.
Will definitely be repeat customers and you...
Read moreI was so excited that there was a wingmac opening up near me. We got it for lunch and it was the worst food experience I’ve ever had! 1) we were the only ones in the restaurant and it took 45 minutes to receive our order. I get that the place is new and it takes time to get fast at it, but I at least expected our order to be correct. 2) we ordered the baskets that said they come with fries, but when we added on the Mac and cheese there was no fries in site. 3) all of our orderes were wrong! Our chicken was seasoned when we asked for regular and they gave us Parmesan when we asked for cheddar and 5 cheese. 4) I love garlic, so I decided the Mac was fine and something I could live with until I took a bite. WAYYYY too much garlic! 5) we asked for ranch. We were charged $1.03 for each container of ranch. Okay fine, but each container only contained less than 1/4 of the cup! You basically only got 2 dips and it was gone!
One of us threw our entire meal away because it was so bad. We will not be returning...
