Went to visit on Sunday September the 15th 2024. We have never been to this location so we decided to try it. This was our first time eating Jake's. I heard so many good recommendations on Jake's so we had to try it for ourselves. Unfortunately we had a awful experience. We walked into the restaurant and were told to seat ourselves. We sat down in a booth and a waiter by the name of Peter came to ask for our drinks. The customer service from Peter was a bit uncomfortable and weird. I asked for straws 4 times. We ordered large size cheese fries with bacon and jalapenos. When the cheese fries came out they looked like a size small and the fries were all chopped up like they were the I'm remains of the bottom of the fryer. Not with the $9. I did mention it to the manager and she gave us a new order. So, that was a olus. She was very nice. Back to our waiter.... He didn't talk or respond much. Which was a bit weird. He was a bit rude and we felt very uncomfortable around him. He barely gave us drink refills and was cleaning up our plates before we were even finished eating. He would say the oldest things to us. ย ย ย Read moreDO NOT ORDER ONLINE FROM HERE. We have been big fans of Jakes for a long time but today is the final time unfortunately. We ordered online from their website that then took us to ChowNow. After placing the order it showed pending for over 30-45 minutes so we headed to the restaurant thinking surely there was an error. When my fiancรฉ arrived he was told they could not find the order although when he gave the bartender the order number he didnt write it down or even stay long enough to get the whole thing. He said this happens often and a few times left mid-sentence. We went home and grabbed food from somewhere else after 45 minutes of showing still pending. Well over an hour + later we got a pick up time text. Now here is the deal: 1) had it said there was an hour wait that would be one thing. That is frequently the case with GrubHub and such so we get it, but it is another thing to just show pending for a long period of time thinking it did not go through 2) had the folks at the restaurant cared enough to figure out where the order was or help us problem solve, all good 3)when we had to go back to get it-- because it was paid for already- we barely got a "sorry" as we were handed or not hot food....

I stopped one waitress who said they were bringing me out my food. Five minutes later, no food. I ask the bartender whatโs the status of my order, she asks my name and without checking says theyโre still working on it. I at that point ask her to please go back and check as itโs been 10 minutes since I arrived and 30 minutes since I placed the order. She leaves and comes back with who Iโm assuming is the manager. He tells me that โthe order was just put in 3 minutes ago we canโt control when you put in the order.โ I placed the order at 5:30pm and got told 10-20 minutes online. So at 6pm when Iโm asking where is my order, being told it was just put in is jarring. About a minute passes and the bartender comes back with my food finally and with an attitude asks me to confirm it is me. I do and leave. And the thing is, the food isnโt even warm.
