Jouni Meat (Farmington Hills) — Attraction in Farmington Hills

I always go the Orchard and 12 mile Jouni Meat but so far only one guy is only honest and the rest are steal the meet chunks. I seen many times while one guy cutting chicken just by throw away some pieces into taken out skin waste and other guy comes and pick those stolen meat and save. Already they charging for chicken 2/99/lb and top of that they stealing the meat which is not fare to customers. if you ask the goat meat bone less and fat less they will give as you asked and they will steal more meat with taken away fat and they don't tell up front but they will add extra price $2 which is cheating to customers. . I also seen they will sell again that taken away fat with meat chunks in ground meat and sell to other customers. If you ask any back the very big personality guy will yell and very rude to customers. so recently me and my friends stopped and going to Jouni Meat and glad that we found Namaste Fresh Meat Market and they always treat the customers very well and most importantly providing very high quality fresh meat...

Not sure what’s happening with all the weird 1-2* reviews, I feel like they are in a different dimension. I only have good experiences here, always good quality meat and chicken. Staff is friendly. I have witnessed weird requests in broken English and staff doing what they can to understand and accommodate. If you have your paranoia about how much is being “stolen” from you in the trimming and cutting process, do it home by yourself. Or ask for the trimmings to be packed for you to take home. Honestly I have a scale and I compared and I have never been “ripped off”. I had times where they were so busy that they forgot one of my bags, or I forget it and I forget to check. Next time I go there they remember me without me mentioning anything. They apologize (even when it’s my goofy mistake) and make it right by me. They are honest and I appreciate that. Operator didn't give us the complete order. Chicken boneless thighs for $24.95 were not put in our bag. We called and the owner realized his miss and asked us to come back to get them. He told us that they will be left in the fridge for us to pick up. We told him that the trip will be tomorrow because its 10 miles back and forth. We made the trip again next day and this new guy was hostile and wanted us to wait behind all other customer before we get our packet. We explained that its already paid for and its in the fridge. While other orders are still being cut and made. He was rude and said that he will not serve us and proceeded to refund. He made a last ditch effort to find our package in fridge and couldn't find it. After three trips these guys have the money and also the product.
