CT Historic Gardens Day at the Stanley-Whitman house was a great visit with tours and demonstrations by knowledgeable guides dressed in outfits from the history of the house. Dennis Picard was stringing marigolds to hang in the window to keep flies out. So wonderful to explore and hear about CT's great history!

My family and I are visiting from out of town and we enjoy historical tours that are able to show us a glimpse into the foundation of early America. Andy and Christy did a wonderful job showing us around the house and answering any questions we had about its past or way of life around the time. I would highly recommend stopping in for a tour if you are in the area and hope it’s as an enjoyable time as it...

I visited today with a supported individual and it was excellent! It is seemingly accessible to many with intellectual disabilities and keeps you intrigued throughout the tour. The garden is beautiful and the historical significance is more than I realized was in Farmington. The woman who gave the tour was highly educated on the house and was so delightful! I...
