First off, coolest place EVER! The owner is exceptionally nice & they have such an awesome vibe here. $5 admission and all you can play games!! There's a snack bar, places to sit and play old systems hooked to 80s style TV's, it's a perfect date night spot SO many arcade games like Street fighter, Tetris, Pacman, and battletoads. They have a whole downstairs (a ramp for wheelchairs) that's filled with even more games and a board game room. Young kids and adults love it . This was our first time coming and I will be going here on my lunch breaks from now on!

Arkadia Retrocade is an absolute gem! Walking in felt like stepping straight back into the 80s and 90s, a true blast from the past. With so many classic arcade games to choose from, it brought back amazing childhood memories. But this time, there were no quarters to run out of and no mom yelling that it’s time to go! Just endless fun and nostalgia. Huge thanks to the team for keeping the retro magic alive. I’ll definitely be back! Btw I finally got the high score on 1942.. bite me! šŸ˜‚

$5 per person for this all-you-can-play arcade is such a steal! There are so many games and it’s hard to play them all unless you spend hours here, so that’s a reason to keep coming! It’s a new adventure every time. Sure there’s some broken machines, but there’s no shortage of games by any means. I’ve been here several times now and still haven’t played all of them! The owner and staff are extremely nice and very cool.

Overall, this place was great! if this place was bent in shape, i think this place would easily be 5 stars. I just got a couple things to point out. I truly hope the owner sees this, because I'm not trying to bash you, I really liked this place! I genuinely want to see it doing better! first off, the place was pretty dirty. The whole place smells a little like bad, but i imagine that is probably due to all the people in here that are tryharding at pac man lol. The carpet looked like it could definitely use a good vacuum. And my main concern is this, PLEASE DUST DOWN ALL YOUR MACHINES. They were not overly dusty and gross; However, I saw at least 5 games that had the n word written in the dust on them. They were everywhere and clear as day to see. Those should be wiped down, no one should have to see that while trying to spend a day with their family. The games that worked were super fun ! The couches with the tvs and super nintendos and stuff was literally the coolest thing in the world to me. i loved the aesthetic and atmosphere of the entire place. besides the cleanliness, it was super sick. There were quite a few games that were broken. there were enough broken games to where i think it would make sense to use the "secondary room" of arkadia as a "broken/ fixing arcade room." besides the things i mentioned, this place was great. if a couple things were bent out, i think this place could easily be the most popular place in this area of Fayetteville. The young black lady at the door that I paid upon entry was super duper nice as well. I never asked for her name, but shoutout to her cause...

Absolutely amazing experience. Came here with my girlfriend for my birthday, which was a surprise to me, and also my first time there. We were unaware it was cash only at the time we went in, and instead of pointing us to an ATM, or refusing us service, the owner let us in, welcomed us warmly, showed us how to play the games enthusiastically, and made my surprise party one of the most memorable experiences I've been fortunate enough to have ever, hands down.

The cabinets are older, which means that they might not be working, but that also shows you that these machines are breaking down, and that we should cherish them while we have the chance. Also, look into arcade technician costs to find out why it's often more advantageous to learn to fix machines yourself, and why those 50+ year old machines might not be in working order.

All in all, there is only one thing I'd change, but with the space offered, I understand why bathroom space is harder to come by.

Stand out machines you behold look out for, which were all working at the time of November 18th, 2023: Dragons Quest, original Gauntlet, Donkey Kong, Warlords, Final Fight, Street Fighter, Mappy, Tron

I'd give this place more stars if I could,...

We visited the Arkadia Retrocade during our end of summer family vaca. All I can say is, if you are in the Fayetteville area, visit! Visit the arcade, visit your past, visit your childhood. What a blast from the past. Seeing my kids love the games I once loved. Seeing there faces light up when we walked in. Seeing them lean where I wanted them too; could’ve gone either way, best place ever, or there generation of games is on a whole other level. Just seeing them run into, realize what it was, and play Wreck it Ralph was my personal guilty pleasure for a moment. Not every game is working properly or at all for that matter. The owner however, took the time to point us where to go. Walked with us for a couple minutes; these work great, these do not, here’s the trick to getting this one going correctly, let me know if you need ANYTHING!!!!! Only con, please, please, please get the ā€œoriginalā€ hologram game working properly. I would even consider searching, locating, and purchasing parts as needed. Again, great place, great business idea. Everyone should have an old-school arcade like this close to where they live, and if they don’t, visit if you are in the...
