I enjoy Harps because they have homemade deli foods, home made cakes, pies, cookies and gormet sushi California and Crunch rolls. I donât have to fix lunch if I donât want to .
Also, home made jams such as rhubarb/strawberry, watermelon rind, black berry, blue berry, cherry, goose berry and boysenberry jam.
Goose berry and Boysenberry are my favorite to send to family members because the fruit isnt easy to get. For example Boysenberry fruit look somewhat like oversized, unripe blackberries. Horticulturist Rudolph Boysen of Anaheim, California developed the berries in the 1920s and the crop took off in CA. When I grew up in Southern California we had to buy it in Orange county at the Knotts Berry Farms.
Harps also sell fresh meats with a butcher that you can talk to, great diet foods like: Walden Farms products!
Plus all of the other grocery items like canned and frozen foods, milk, light bulbs, etc.
Try it, you'll like it.
PS I posted some photos of my goldfish and my Molly fish eating zucchini. We feed them Repashy gel, Aquarium flakes, frozen blood worms and thick slices of boiled zucchini.
I drive all the way to Harps for zucchini because they have the best price and the zucchini is sometimes as thick as my arm but very tasty.
I have talked to almost everyone in the Harps on Weddington in Fayetteville but since I donât remember talking to the produce workers so I just wanted to thank you for making Butch Smashidy, the Fundance kid, Etta face and all the Mollies, and Couries in all three of my aquariums happy on...
Read moreI love the grocery store. This review concerns the pharmacy only. I was going to start using them because WalMart Neighborhood Market was out of my prescription more than once and it's a hassle to get a new script sent somewhere else electronically. Anyway, Harp's would not fill my prescription until the day AFTER I ran out. So since I have a life and had to be in Bentonville at the same time they opened, I had to go without my medicine that day! Also, they were very rude. So when I was able to pick up my prescription the SECOND day of being out (because I didn't make it back from Bentonville before they closed), they had my last wrong name and primary insurance. Then, I showed them my primary insurance card and they said "well it's $13 on your other insurance or $84 on this one because you have a copay since it's the first of the year." Honey, it's April 1st and I've filled this 3 times this year and NOT had a copay on this insurance. Lesson of the day: the grass ain't always greener on...
Read moreBought a pastry as I was leaving the store I realized I had grabbed the wrong flavor. I had just finished the transaction so I said do you mind if I trade this for the other flavor. The employee who couldnât be bothered to get off their cell phone had to call a manager, the manager came over and said the returns desk is closed for the night I need to come back tomorrow. I literally was exchanging chocolate for vanilla I hadnât left the store, I had just taken it off the shelf 1min prior. Really? Come back the next day? For a three dollar item you canât do a quick exchange on the fly? The employee who am I wonât go into detail with brutal, I had to explain the situation to the manager because the employee was busy on their phone. Theyâre both children, there arenât any adults that work at harps which is part of the problem but I certainly...
