This is what you get when you have this shop work on your stuff. I brought the forks for my Harley into Happy Trails for new seals. I never heard anything so I went back 3 weeks later and told them I’d wait in the lobby to take the forks home. Guy DEMANDED to put new bushings in it or else he wouldn’t guarantee that they wouldn’t leak. I agreed. Well… they leaked anyway… A LOT. Worse than when I brought them into the shop. I took the forks apart to see what was going on: One fork was MISSING THE STEEL SPACER entirely and my “NEW” bushing was all scratched up (picture). The inside of the other fork was CONSUMED in black RTV (pics) to the point that I can’t even tell if the seal was even replaced… it looks like this is how they do work and hope that most people coming in won’t check on what they do. At the end of everything… I paid $318 for a fork seal/bushing replacement that took 3 weeks and I ended up having to redo the whole job myself.
Now, they might respond to this review and tell me how bad the seals were to “replace” and that I could have brought them back in to have fixed… let’s be honest, after seeing the quality of work coming out of Happy Trails, I wouldn’t trust them with a match to light their cigarette, let alone redo the fork seals that I waited 3 weeks for. LEARN FROM MY EXPERIENCE! DO NOT GET CONNED BY THIS SHOP… TRUST YOUR INSTINCTS AND GO...
Read moreCame in today with a Harley that I purchased yesterday from a private seller. It needed new tires badly. Joe had the right tires in stock, and even though it was a Saturday, they went ahead and took care of it, allowing me to get it on the road this afternoon and ready for more tomorrow. This is an Old School cycle shop- decades of knowledge, lots of vintage bikes to check out, all sorts of historical MC paraphernalia, even a couple of shop dogs to accompany a warehouse of any parts you might need to get your bike back on the road. The mechanic Chris was meticulous and took all the time needed to do a great job getting my bike road ready. Most places I would never just drop a bike off to get it fixed, but I realized that you definitely could do that here, with nothing to worry about. Chris's careful and thorough approach was great to watch, showing decades of experience and skill. Overall, I cannot say enough about the place, and the overall quality of service. Almost looking forward to the next time I need some work done on my bike! Thanks...

I've been a loyal customer of Happy Trails Motorcycle Connection for a few decades of summers now. As someone who prefers cooler climates, I rely on their expert care to keep my Harleys in top shape during the hot months.
The team at Happy Trails is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about motorcycles. They've always gone the extra mile to diagnose and fix any issues my bikes have encountered. Their service may not be the fastest, but fast is not always a good thing. Patience will do you some good anyhow. This world has gone crazy with people thinking they are the only people that matter. They are very reasonably priced and you will be comfortable taking your bike on a 1000 mile trip right away.
What sets Happy Trails apart is their atmosphere. No judgement, just old school. I love that. They will talk shop if you want, or get right to the point. It's clear they genuinely care about their work and their bikes. I highly recommend them to any Harley owner in the...
