Had some time to kill in the area and needed to pick up some random household stuff, so I stopped in to the Family Dollar on 92nd. Shortly after walking in with my 9 year old little girl, she announces she REALLY need to use the restroom. I looked around but didn't see one so I approached the first store employee I could find. I asked him if there was a restroom she could use while I did my shopping...to my complete surprise he said no! I pleaded with him, saying she really has to go and couldn't they just make an exception for a little girl. He again refused and stated they just did not have a restroom in the store at all and told us to walk across the street to the Mexican restaurant. Seriously!?! I said, "I really need to do some shopping, she will be really quick", again...straight up refused to let my daughter use the restroom. What the actual!?! How can a person look at a little girl who is clearly doing the poo distress dance and refuse to let her use the toilet? We left, and we won't be shoping at any of these disgusting stores...
Read moreThis family dollar is the only business always booting people out the door 10 minutes before close and locking doors before date. I get the store hours and firmly feel if you are a business should honor your store hours. I basically use this place as a last ditch effort to get dog food after my business closes at the PROPER time. Sad because I remember when multi business corporations adhered to enforcing employees not closing the store early.... I know the business I work for does. Regardless half the employees are great, just this night crew is laughable at best. Avoid this location if you can help it as I never have issues with other locations Made this post at 955pm and was finished by 10pm. My visit wouldve been under 30 bucks and...
Read moreThis is the dirtiest store I have ever been in. The floors have bits of trash all over, like they've never swept the place. You have to walk around boxes they've left out in some of the aisles. Items are off the shelves and sitting on the floor, like laundry soap. There isn't a drop of air conditioning in the store, so they leave the front door open, so flies are buzzing around and the place is hot. It's like a slum store from some third-world nation. I only went here because a relative wanted an item, but I will definitely not be coming back. The manager ought to get canned for running a...
