Tacos Los Vaqueros — Restaurant in Federal Heights

First time we went, we had a torta and some tacos. Torta was delicious, tacos weren't bad. We paid about $26, including the 2 sodas. After getting dinner a couple of times here we decided to try their breakfast burritos. We ordered 2 egg, chorizo burritos and 1 soda, coming to a total of $23! Even though I thought the price was outrageous, we decided to wait and see if the burritos would compensate for the price. Unfortunately, this wasnt the case, burritos had good flavor but were small, sort of like one you might get from 7-Eleven. Which was only a problem because we were basically charged $10 for each. I don't understand how they justify their prices here. If you want a delicious torta this is your place, other than...

Really good food, ordered tacos, menudo, churros and a hamburger. The tacos we had were asada, birria, al pastor. My mom said the menudo was really good but it was spicier than she prefers if you like it hot. The burger my sister ate came with cheese lettuce tomatoes and avocado she said it was surprisingly good and came with fries. The tacos were really good and flavorful they had 3 different salsa options, red, green and then the avocado salsa 😋. Would definitely come back if I was on that side of town. Also while we were there the line never stopped they stay really busy there. Not to forget, the church's came with like 6 pieces and ice cream in the middle, they were fresh...

Enchiladas were weird,, the corn tortillas were not corn tortillas, it was thick lake a tamale base. No cheese..(?) no sight of onions.it was smothered with red Chile...The refried beans tasted Burnt! I'd never go back. I poked around with my fork, picked up corn tortillas but was dry tamale ! I scraped the plate down the garbage disposal.....wasted! $14.00,! 2 slices 🍅 2 sliced avocados for dinner! Place sux!! I was next door at Phone store, my first time at this restraint.
