La Flor Michoacana — Restaurant in Federal Heights

Had been to this place few year ago seems they love done some updates to the decor looks much nicer than I recall.

The prices seemed a bit higher than many places but maybe it works for them.in the area. They also seems to have a great variety of options whichbis nice but this tends to allow quality of products and service to suffer.

The place is clean but the service could be better while the cashier did ok the other workers didn't seems to excited to be there.

The qualitybof the products also was less than I expected I had previously tried their ice creams which were good.

I was surprised they had fried ice cream which evennrestaurants rarely have however their was no cruchbin the surface and the prelodcut. Was just much sweeter than expected, not sure f the ice cream was vanilla but it didn't look or taste like vanilla as it was sweeter than I imagined.

To go I ordered the agua de limon with chia which while it was OK it didn't have much flavor and or unique taste to it.

A plus like I said is they don't have a shortage of items and combinations so you van always try...

One of my favorite places to go for a snack. Mostly for my favorite ice cream flavor.., Pistachio. Did you notice I didn't say "a quick snack"? Cause if you're in a hurry, this is not the place for you to go to. This place is pretty much always packed. And for a very good reason. They serve up some of the tastiest dishes. And for the money, very filling. And not last but not least to mention, the eye candy. Gentleman, take plenty of napkins or absorbing paper towels cause, you will be a drooling. This isn’t the first time going, but the employees aren’t exactly friendly every time we’ve gone. I was over charged for their mistake and had to ask for a refund. The service was slower than usual which I understand but not a single thing was said at the fact that 5 people after me got their orders. Plus they let a couple of people cut in line. One of the things I got was the elote chorreado, which was just loaded with nacho cheese. Not great. It’s 9.50 which I think is high for what it is.
