Federal Way Buds & Blooms — Attraction in Federal Way

I've done business with BUDS & BLOOMS over the years on three different occassions. Each time I've done business with this awesome business it has always been with the owner. Every time I've came in I explained the reasoning or circumstances and asked for her opinion as to totally what type of flower or rose would be best based off what I explained to her. The 1st time was for a funeral so I let her pick out some options and then I made the final purchase decision. The last two visits I did my part in finding out the colors and types of roses and/or flowers my girlfriend liked. With that being said my 1st visit was for her 50th birthday so I went all out with the help and assistance from the owner. My 2nd occassion wasn't for a good reason. It was because me and my girlfriend got into a little disagreement and I pissed her off so I went whining and crying LOL about my situation and asked for her opinion as to what type of flowers should I get my girlfriend under the situation and to my amusement she remembered all her favorite colors from the previous business encounter. She picked out (not sure of the name of the flower) a beautiful flower and vase in the colors that my girlfriend liked along with a stuffed teddy bear and a greeting card. If you want friendliness but also expertise in choosing the right flowers or roses along with other items to fit the occassion you can not go wrong with choosing BUD & BLOOMS. If I could give them a star rating of a 100 I would but the star rating chart only goes to 5 stars. Thanks for all your wonderful help and I look forward to doing business again in the near future. Condescending employee wished me “luck” trying to find better bouquets than what is in my opinion, over priced garbage. $250 for the same thing you could find at Safeway for $60. I even told her I had nicer bouquets delivered with a teddy bear, chocolates and balloons in California for $150. I ended up having Safeway custom make me a bouquet faaaar faaar nicer and larger than the simple junk at this place with balloons, custom vase and card for $100 😂

Money wasn’t the issue. I can’t get myself to pay gourmet prices for McDonalds either…

Update to respond to owner: I notice you don't address the incident or your condescending attitude during my visit, but instead attempt to 1) note you offered to make something custom for me, not understanding that my review is about the poor value of your flowers, as I noted above, I was able to get a custom made bouquet at another place for a fraction of the price of your ridiculously expensive basic bouquets, which was the issue I noted above and during my visit, to whish you condescendingly wished me "good luck" finding a better bouquet at a lower cost, surprise, I did...and 2) attempt to discredit my review by claiming that my history of reviews is merely to discredit businesses. I am really impressed with their customer service. I walked into the Auburn store, not knowing what I really wanted to send to a deceased friend's family. Right away, I was greeted with a smile and the lady that helped me (I regret that I did not get her name) made suggestions on what I could get for the price range that I was looking for. And because the Auburn store did not deliver to where I wanted my flowers to go, she called the Federal Way store to see if they had the plants I wanted and to hold it until I got home and called. There were a lot of customers, but she took the time out to help me and made the phone call herself. I called the Federal Way store, and Samantha had the plants on hold.

The only issue I had was that my name was not on the basket of plants that was delivered. So the family of the deceased did not know who the plants were from until I asked a few days ago if they have received the basket, which they did. So it's always wise to follow up with the recipient if they got the flowers. I hope that this is not a regular practice of Buds N Blooms. I've never ordered flowers from there before, so I don't have any comparison.

Otherwise, the store clerks were very friendly...
