Birdies — Attraction in Fitchburg

The atmosphere at Birdies is very cozy and welcoming. They have two virtual golf bays that are softly lit, with comfortable lounge furniture and tables to set your food and drinks on, which you can bring yourself or order from next door (a bar and grill restaurant called Legends). Patrick told us that people even get pizza delivered sometimes.

Our experience at Birdies felt less like business as usual, more like hanging out at a good friend’s house with two virtual golf bays and a tv screen projected on the wall. Patrick told us that this is the typical treatment because there are never more than two groups in there, so he is able to give a lot of focus to each customer.

So all in all, I highly recommend Birdies to anyone who likes golf. It’s a great place to hang out.  Patrick told us to keep an eye out for date discount promotions.  My boyfriend recently saw on their instagram page that they are doing a new early day promotion, 25$ for an hour of golf and a lunch from Legends so he wants to go back...

Birdies is the best indoor golf experience in the area. The team at Birdies have figured out how to offer their clients the best parts of a country club (think Cheers and Pat is Sam Malone) but with rates that will allow you to visit often and to keep working on your swing.

And if your true goal is to build a swing that is reliable and consistent, you have to take a lesson from Pat. He teaches the game in a way that is so simple to understand you can continue to improve your game when you’re at home, on the range or on the course.

When I saw a big beautiful new sign go up in this building, so I stopped in to see what it was all about; and good thing I did.

INDOOR GOLF!!! QUALITY GOLF LESSONS!!! THANK THE LORD!!

When I arrived there were a few people playing and seemed to be having a great time. I was able to speak with a pro, Patrick (who I think may have also been the owner? manager?) He was incredibly well versed in everything golf, not to mention funny and extremely friendly. I will be back soon and this will be my go-to place for indoor golf and golf lessons until I'm living in Malibu and on the pro tour. Hopefully they put in a golf pro shop soon so I can get my new golf clubs and golf balls...
