Calamari appetizer was dissapointing. Breading falling off, squid overcooked, didn’t look or taste like calamari we are used to having. Also I know seafood has a fishy smell but this smelt foul not anything we are used to when we’ve had it elsewhere
Antipasto had ham not prosciutto as it showed on the menu. The cheese looked like shredded mozzarella like you get out of a bag and tasted it not like slices or cut up provolone or at least offer the mozzarella sliced. It could have had more traditional items to make it an antipasto. Sadly I’ve had better at take out pizza places for a bit less $ Also no spoon to serve salad as we had mentioned we were sharing also had to ask for plate to put in
Lunch specials would be helpful if prices given when presented. Chicken piccata special for lunch was $30 I was taken back because it wasn’t worth that, chicken was not tender and not enough in the plate for that price. Sauce, gnocchi and mushrooms were tasty at least. In my experiences “specials” are typically not same price as what’s on a menu & I find that dish to be overpriced for a restaurant in Fitchburg not to mention. for lunch item and a special
Typically I justify spending money on going out to eat because not only good quality food or that’s what you hope for but the service & experience is a big part of it and that was also lacking unfortunately. We have ordered takeout when the restaurant first opened a few times and very pleased but dining in we were dissatisfied...
Read moreMy boyfriend and I were very happy that we had a new Italian and Greek place to visit. Unfortunately, the experience was an as kind when I called to ask if we needed to make a reservation for two they said no problem yet when we came in they were so busy and so full that they almost were not able to get a table for us. They did find one and we waited and waited and waited for a waitress or waiter to come by finally somebody to come by and we asked about the drink menu and they stated that they won’t get their legal license into January, which is all good understood but yeah when we look Right to the side of our table, they were four people with two bottles of wine and glasses of wine drinking wine so I’m not sure what this meant or why was this odd for me to see so we wanted to have a full dinner with a couple of drinks and we decided that maybe we should try it in January again but I don’t think it was fair to see another table with two bottles of wine, drinking wine and yeah, they let us know that they don’t have a liquor license. I don’t understand this and if I could get an answer to this, I would appreciate it, but I do wish you the best and I hope that I could come back and visit sometime. The place is beautiful. The girls were amazing but again they’re starting. And I wish...
Read moreWhoa, this is a big deal - Fitchburg/Leominster!!!
Super clean, brand-new everything, friendly staff well dressed staff, professional atmosphere.
Owner takes ingredients seriously and uses only the best quality to ensure healthy meals, this goes away LONG way!
I tried the Jambalaya and my girlfriend got the Olympian Chicken. Fresh jumbo shrimp, and andouili sausage - perfectly sweat onions, linguini cooked to perfection and the whole dish was unique and delicious. My girl's dish had this massive tenderized grill marked chicken cutlet cooked slow with a melody of truly unique spices. The Mediterranean infusion really showed here.
We ate before snapping phots, my plate is half done here! Haha.
This is NOT classical Italian or classical Greek, this is a fusion restaurant; so ask them about what is in a dish - even if you feel familiar.
I'm so excited to have a REAL restaurant in town, and I live right down the block. I'm picky and have cooked for many years and opened many restaurants.
If you are a drinker, bring your own wine and save some money! They will have their liquor license soon, but for now, you can bring anything you'd like. There is even a spot nearby to grab on yoyr way in.
It a lovely family and I'm definitely excited to support.
