Ryan C. Joubert Memorial Skatepark — Attraction in Fitchburg

The concrete is mostly smooth enough but the features are all to steep or awkward feeling. Small 3 foot quarter pipes meant for beginners have to much vert. Transitions into banks feel too abrupt/steep and scrape the bottom of your board. The bowl is okay. No part of the park is level. It's like the center is a crown and the rest of the park slopes away from the center. There are no rails that are not into or out of a bank. There are no ledges. You can definitely still come here and have fun skating.

There were also plenty of people just standing around in the way not doing anything when I visited.

The place to go in the area if you want to skate anywhere else northofit is just a bmx park with crappy asphalt branded for skateboards. The only thing about this park is it's in a rough part of Fitchburg but if the community could pull together and clean up the area this would be a top notch park, also it has a bmx park next to it if your into that, and hopefully someday the area will be nice enough to start utilizing the lights again,they have stopped due to it being to...

I have no complaints, the skatepark and playground were clean and had minimal litter. The teenagers hanging around on bikes and skateboards were considerate and mindful of smaller/less experienced kids, plus there were 2 separate skateparks so seemed those with less experienced migrated to one, and the proficient skaters were in another.
