My favorite park in Flagstaff. There is an old playground and a new playground. Old playground is shaded and classic 90s equipment, 3 different structures, ride on dino and frogs, and swings. Large grassy area and covered picnic areas, one with large charcoal grill. Two large parking lots flank the sprawling park. On the way to the new playground you pass a bathroom, tennis courts, skate park, and dog park. The new playground has a lot of balance and climbing equipment, a zipline, a seated zipline, modern merry go round, modern special needs friendly teeter totter, and a young children climbing area and slide. A huge gazebo sits across from playground and has a gas grill that can be turned on when rented out. A smaller covered picnic area is right next to the playground. Follow the path and on the left is parking, to the right is a roller derby/bike riding/scootering/hockey rink and on further is a body weight work out area (10-15 different exercises). Lots of sleeping people, but I've never felt unsafe. Can't blame people for finding a nice shady, temperate...

Holy hell no! I’m from Phoenix and took my four kids on a mini vacation to beat the heat. We had never been to this park but saw a bunch of great reviews. There is NO way these reviews can be real. I took my toddler to potty at the unisex bathroom first and a man walked out when he heard us coming. It smelled like cigarettes and was absolutely TRASHED. Graffiti on everything. Trash was triple what it was meant to hold. There was piss all over the place. I had to sanitize our shoes as soon as we got home. There were drug addicts passed out beside the kids playground! Caught in an embrace with their legs wrapped around each other, my naive, often oblivious teenager thought it was “sweet that they were hugging and taking a nap.” LOL I had to burst that bubble and take my kids back to the house to safely play in the yard. There was broken glass and trash everywhere! I wouldn’t go there ever again if you paid me $100. I’d just get...

The playground looks like it used to be nice but is now run down. The play structure had some fun equipment, but it was gross. There are burnt spots and broken things like the community hasn't taken care of it. There are beautiful trees around, and it looks like it was a nice facility at some point, like the city put a lot of money into recently. The bathroom was horrible. It was the worst bathroom I've been to in a long time. It smelled like urine, probably because the walls and floor were covered in it. I don't think it's been cleaned in a year. There were some adults loitering around the bathroom, and one of them was picked up by an ambulance. I wouldn't be surprised if it was because there was...

Lovely place to take children to two playgrounds that have shade and seating.

So disappointed! We came to play pickleball at 6am on the first day. Sign said pickleball is 8-noon every day. Okay, we played in the tennis court and just volleyed around. The pickleball lines were painted in the tennis courts. Came back the next day (Sunday) at 8am ready to play. Nobody showed up to switch the tennis nets to pickleball nets. We asked the guy driving by picking up the trash, he said the people that play pickleball have access to the locked box with the nets and put up them themselves. We volleyed around again until almost 9 and nobody came to change the nets. Pickleball should not be advertised if the rangers aren't going to make sure the sport is available to be played.
