As soon as we walked in we knew the food was going to be amazing by the smell in the air and the atmosphere in the restaurant and were greeted by a wonderful young man great smile, got our menus right away menu wasn't so bombarded with so many choices, there was alot but not to much and everything on the menu were delicious so hard to choose from! As we waited for our food we were served nachos with salsa and the salsa was amazing nothing I tried before and it was delicious! We received our plates my husband ordered the carne asada burrito and I ordered a chimichanga both included rice and beans on the side. I'm Hispanic and living in Flagstaff it's so difficult to find good mexican food especially mexican rice, let me tell you, the rice and beans were to die for! That's when we knew the main dish was going to be good! We tried everything and it was so mouth watering delicious, the chicken chimichanga was seasoned perfectly and the chicken wasn't dry like at salsa brava, a little spice to it was the finishing touch! My husband finished his dish fast every single bite which is a compliment in it's self because he is a very picky eater especially with mexican food (he only eats my food completely) he was absolutely full and satisfied. The waiter was gradually coming to check on us but not to much to disturb us which I loved, I can't stand waiters who come every 7 minutes to ask if we're okay it gets irritating, either way he was very respectful. I can honestly say I've lived here in Flagstaff for 4 years now also coming and visiting from Phoenix my whole life, this is the best mexican food restaurant here for sure! This place and the little place in the mall, I've tried every "mexican food" place in Flagstaff so far and this is the #1 best place I will be going to this restaurant from now on! Great job! Definitely hats off the the people cooking in the back, you have to be mexican to cook...
Read moreWe had dinner this evening. Sat down and It took a while for our server to come to the table, We finally we got menu. I ordered the soup of the day, I ordered menudo and my husband ordered Nachos. We got our salsa and chips, the salsa was running. It took a bit for our order to arrive. When we finally got the food, my menudo was nothing but full broth, the nachos had lettuce I'm thinking there was lettuce on the nachos. So my menudo, I counted 20 pieces of hominy and small cut of the tripe. There was no texture to my menudo and I left half a bowl of broth. I was not impressed with my food. The sopapilla tasted like yeast, we didn't finish. My husband's nachos had too much lettuce, he had to clear some of the lettuce off the chips. We weren't impressed. The only good thing that I was happy with were the drinks. I was a bit disappointed with the food that we got. So, my dish, my husband's dish, two large drinks and 2 sopapilla. My husband paid $55 for it with tip. Nothing to brag about this restaurant and the price is way too high. This was our first time eating at this place and will be our last. The food wasn't all that great and the price too high. low quality and low...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at Taqueria Rojas and I was blown away by the delicious food and exceptional service! The moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm smile by the hostess who showed me to my table. The menu was extensive and full of mouth-watering options, but my server helped me decide on the perfect dish. The food was absolutely divine - rich, flavorful, and expertly prepared. I tried the carnitas , both of which were out of this world! But what really made my experience stand out was the attentive and friendly service. My server was knowledgeable, efficient, and made sure I had everything I needed throughout my meal, 5 stars and a big thumbs up...
